Sudden increase in anxiety - after months of vaping?

I don't think cannabis causes the anxiety but it can certainly exacerbate it. There are certainly a lot of people with anxiety issues these days - smokers and non-smokers.

You are correct. In large doses it does increase anxiety over time. Micro dosing THC is actually very beneficial. Regardless CBD should always be mixed for those already suffering anxiety. I would be careful of diazapenes like xanex. They are very additive and can cause depression if taken for more than a month. should only be used for very short term emergency basis.

Stick with chewing whole peppercorn, magnesium, valarian root tea , chamomile tea, and vitamen supplements. Never heard of ashwagandha but if its natural its worth a try.

I think Ashwaganda is a form of ginseng

Avoid xanax but be aware that it works. When you have seriously debilitating anxiety then just knowing you have access to something that can handle an attack can help tremendously.

And Ashwagandha is indeed a form of ginseng. I cannot recommend it enough for dealing with anxiety. Report back to this thread if you've tried it and found it works.

I don't know but it happened to me, possibly I was using cannabis in a distracting way and it was surfacing underlying problems I had been pushing aside. Would get some heavy anxiety, and even strong panic attacks, super weird. I was able to push through it, but there is a lot of reports on this online of long term 5+ year users experiencing the same thing. It does seem like most have to quit permanently.

Number one, I think it's good that cannabis asked you to confront some issues you were pushing aside. Number two, I've had anxiety attacks on occasion since the 1970s, but it never required that I quit cannabis.

I am acutely aware of the fact that place/circumstances/people I'm with all have a profound impact on the kind of cannabis experience I have. I learned to be very careful with all that.

I really believe that one can either work with cannabis and let her take you where she will, or one can work against it, and try to control her. Can't be done, in my experience: I have to surrender to her.

There is definitely some truth to this.im ok now but a few month into vaping exclusively i was suffering from anxiety at about the same time everyday.i was only consumjng .4 a night at this time.i increased my dose and about 4 morings out of 7 i now have a wake and bake before work.i cant believe how much more focused i am at work because of this.i highly doubt this will work for everyone.my anxiety has never been that bad and when a true attack comes on i just roll over and let it do its things.about as bad as it gets for me is just a massive MASSIVE feeling like ive done something really bad and im just waiting for consequences to come around but they never do come around.when an attack came on when i was younger i thought i was going to die, after this happening about 30 times realised i wasnt gojng to die and i started handling them so much better.

That's awesome! As they say, each one of us has a unique ECS and each one of us has to find the medicinal strains that work best for us. Yeah, anxiety's a bitch but it does get easier to deal with as we gain insights.
