Merry Everything Everyone! Good riddance 2017 man that was a rough year, @SloJimFizz regarding local Headshop's I did a similar thing, asking owner to carry VC's. however I doubt they will stock up by me, strange because my neighborhood their are 3 big name colleges one would think? @Dynavaper, interesting idea, if by chance you or anyone here is in the Hudson valley area feel free to contact me we will do it right!
@Squiby wow -27 and here I am bitching about -10, my lady and I stayed in last night, I tend to avoid driving around the Holidays too many careless violent drunks driving and stinking badges creeping on the roads.

11th January 2017 - that's when I ordered my first VAPCAP OG :D - what a year it's been.... and I keep getting better and better results ;) (except with water, but the NonaVong will hopefully fix that). I used to hang out a bit on the DaVinci Ascent thread but here feels like home
You're all my beshtest friends - Happy New Year!

@Helios, I too live in the Hudson Valley.

Let me guess? Are you talking about Happy Habits Vape Shop on Route 9 in Wappingers, NY.

Colleges such as Vassar, Marrist and I believe Bard as well.

Unless they have rich parents or trust funds. Most college kids couldn’t afford to spend money on vaporizers, let along the herb.

OH no! you are in trouble. My other vapes have not seen daylight for the past year. The Volcano comes out for parties but even that is starting to change.

Haha we shall see.
I truly dig the ff2.
The M Will be a situational driver for me. The ff2 is perfect for what I need but couldn't pass up the M to complement it!

@CarlosSpiceyWeiner haha yes Happy Habits! I'm closer to Hyde Park, yep forgot one other big college which would make 4, CIA Culinary Institute of America, class of 99';)

I’m at the borders of Hopewell Junction and Beekman closer to Route 55.

Congratulations, Chef Helios. The wife and I have eaten dinner there before. The campus is beautiful, dinner quality depends on which student is preparing your meal. :brow:

I have 3 Omni XL’s, one for home, one for out and about and one for a backup. A Black NonaVong Stem that I use only at home with the XL condenser. Also a Cocobolo with Titanium tip used only with my Pinnacle Hydrotube.

For a heat source I have a Pipes Skelator that I leave at home. Plus a Portside for out and about. Also on his first list for the Mini Portside.

So if you need a guy to bring to a party, I’m that guy....

But I have to go get ready. I have my wife telling me to get ready to take her to the Danbury Mall. She doesn’t care what I buy as long as I don’t care what she buys. It’s a great compromise!!

I once read it or heard george speak about it in a video.
Cant remember.

does anybody know if there are detailed plans to release a tinanium vong in the near future?

Wood is good.
it feels good in the hand and has a natural spirit.

the thing is that i like my Ti tip better when paired with the M.
the tip fits super snuggly in the M.

its not loose on the wooden vong but not as satisfying as on the M.
so I gues its the precise manufacturing of the metal that does not change in diameter with time.
the wooden vong will become wider with time, right ?

cleaning is another disadvantage of the wood.
you cant easily wash it with alcohol

Wood tends to swell when it gets wet, but short of moisture I see no reason for a wood vong to change diameter over time.

If what you mean is that the part of the vong where you connect the tip will get "mushy" (tech term) or soft over time that will depend on how you treat it. As I suggested in a previous post, if you are carrying loaded tips and constantly swapping them out instead of refilling your tip, it likely WILL get loose over time. If you just pull your tips for cleaning it may never happen

I keep looking at other Vapes thinking " i may treat my self to one of those " then i realise i have an M and itdoes exactly what i need and any other vape is just an indulgent purchase that will not enhance my enjoyment of the herb at all . I use a tiny dose in the evening after work when my studies are done and the boys are sleeping. The dynavap has nailed it for me.

If you remain able to resist additional vape and accessory purchases because "you don't need them", then you are a better man (or woman) than I am. Need was satisfied with my first vape. DESIRE has ruled the day ever since. And ruled it quite effectively... :uhoh:

Depends on how you feel. I got my Omnivap, I love it, the hits are stupidly powerful, but I definitely need another vaporizer. I just ordered the NewVape Flowerpot Twax.
I like my minivap, but the powerful hits of the dynavap are nice. I like them so much it actually made me want to order the NewVape FlowerPot so I could get those same style hits on a larger bowls just for fun. Sometimes, I just want to get destroyed =D

Now that I have multiple vaporizers again, every vape has its pros and cons. I "need" my vaporizers =D

And then in about a week you’ll be sitting there after an M session, thinking “ok I don’t need this FF anymore” lol. I had a FF and an IQ. Bought an Omni and M and gave the electric vapes away. Lol. I don’t miss them either.

Born and raised in the US, and have never understood why we aren't on the Metric System. We may as well go back to measuring in "cubits", (length of your forearm).
No, that would be too logical. Everyone of these congressmen around here has a brown ring around his neck, from where he keeps his head. Doc

I lived 33 years in the US and now 9 in Canada. The metric system does make a lot more sense to me. Well, once I stopped trying to equate Fahrenheit to Celsius. Hahah. Happy New Year VapFam.

I feel the exact same about my M, and my usage mirrors yours almost to a t. I was looking for a battery powered device, sometimes using a lighter was annoying. But the induction heater changed everything now the M has the best of both worlds for heating.

Just a dude
I'd get baked with anyone here!
Thanks for all the info and good times everyone. Awesome group on this whole site, unlike any other forum I've been part of.
Good Ol' SloJim - Equal Opportunity Baker! I love your attitude, always up for good times. TBperfectlyH, it was Monsieur Fizz himself that got me into this club. Without his testimonial, they never would have let me in. As it was, that entrance exam was a bitch, right? Right everybody?! :haw:
But yeah SJF's right, it is a great group; but IMO SJF will always be one of the greatest!

@Dynalowrider You sir, have been one of my great teachers here. I like how you'll say "I can't tell you how to do it. I can only tell you how I do it" But then I have seen you explain something in different ways for different members and I think it's a sign of a good teacher. Anyone who's read the thread knows we're the ones who are fortunate to have you around. The fact you consider us your friends is an honour for me.

Not sure if my spine could cope right now but I'd love to do a jig with Ms @Squiby but stepping out in -72 below? (I know it's -27) That's just brutal, I might shatter. I'll be taking turns with SloJim blowing in the exhaust fan! I think it's wonderful that y'all get together and party and LIVE despite the weather.

On the metric system: I lived 40 years (more or less) in the US, then moved to UK. I believe that having to learn the metric system was good for my brain's plasticity. The metric systems far more precise and easier in some ways, that's why the military uses it. Of course in England, the road signs here are in miles and you have the good ol' Imperial Pint down the pub so there are exceptions. My boys were quite little when we moved and still asking a million questions and all of the sudden there were insects, birds, animals and trees that I couldn't identify. I had to learn, not only to be SuperDad but also simply because it was all around me! Taking that 40 year-old brain & forcing it out of its comfort zone was invigorating for me, but maybe that would not for everyone. Dang it you guys, I enjoy our tagents as well as the VC talk! PEACE

One of the great strengths of the VC is its ability to be many things to many people. Whether you have a minimalist aesthetic or a collectors mentality, Dynavap has got you covered!

Does anyone have any post-combustion maintenance tips? I hadn't had a combustion episode since early in my ownership back in June. Anyways, I ran out of butane and misplaces my treasured lil silver torch lighter a bit ago. Anyways, found my chefs torture and decided to give it a go while a friend was over. I got it the first go, but the friend combusted the bowl. I jumped in to get it down pat, and combusted the bowl. I got the torch back to order and have had a few non burning sessions but they taste...Not great.

I'm going to give it a through ISO bath but does anyone have any other tips?

God, I can't wait for the induction unit. ;_;
