S&B pad probably best if you wanna do convection concentrates. Personally I'm pretty satisfied with the rough guesstimate of temps that little chart that I have a hardon for gave us - my dish is mid to upper 400s. Really nice imo.

I am interested if anyone has tried the S&B pads though.

Also, I think I'm gonna start dialing in more and adjusting temps based on time of day... It's so easy to just set it and leave it and be content. No technique required. If you can breathe, you can master the flowerpot... but the versatility begs to be explored. It's feels silly to waste the capabilities otherwise!

670f now for sleepytime. .15g of finegrind rude boi og (i fucking love this strain btw - really amazing and unique profile... the smell is so goooooood)

really nice taste the first few secs but I guess temp was still climbing from 640... then huge milk. I up my speed a bit and forgo the showercap at this temp to reduce and popcorn taste at the end, but the beginning of the hit is a very nice blast of flavor/terpenes

went for this instead of the crumble tonight and not disappointed...

I really love the immediate fx from a big rip. Face and chest get tingly for a min or 2 after.

Yeah - should work fine. I'd probably use carp cab or slow draw or both. I don't expect it to be as milky as dabbing straight up, but probably better flavor. Please report back :)

May have to bump up temps for better results and all that jazz but will be interesting to hear how it works.

At least I think this is what @emmdeemo was getting at... lol

Sorry it's a long video, I probably should have upped the temps but perhaps it kept the oil in the pad. 660F, took quite a while, didnt really get good vapor until I used the carb cap (much like what I see with my flower) with this setup. But I got a lot of hits off of that dab and the first one was especially tasty.

Once I get my new rig I'll be able to show off the milk a bit better, this thing was initially bought to help smooth out the vapor, it gets dirty fast and I think has a bit inferior pull through the perc. Overall I think it's a solid way, especially if you are a flavor chaser, putting micro dabs for small individual terp potent rips this is probably the way versus up top.

i'm waiting on stubby bowl to really utilize my female glass pieces (not too much longer! my apt is one of the first mailstops of the day... the best part of my living situation!)... i also think the recycler i use is too chuggy. kinda forces a slow pull, or gives one due to the recycling even if you're pulling fast? idk.

Nice. I'm gonna try this now. I like the idea of a more relaxed oil session.

I've began using separate rigs for oil and flower. The errl dirties the glass so fast that I feel a separate rig for flower is necessary. I'm too lazy to clean glass everyday and I like to have a clean(er) flower rig for the majority of my sessions.

OK. Well, I'm sold - Full bowl of flower, three or four dabs buried in it, 520f on the controller. Capped. Fast draw. Endless hits. Very nice clouds. Pretty sure the flower was spent a while back, still hitting it tho.

Proper twaxed out.

I've ordered some oil pads from Storz and Bickel thanks to the @psychonaut and his bespoke video ;)

Anyone able to contribute experience with Ti concentrate pads as opposed to the S&B steel? I think this was mentioned many, many pages back, I'll do a search. Also, quartz frit disc type inserts for the flower bowl? Or something similar, are they a thing anyone with an FP bowl has and can try? (are they even a thing? :) I'm sure I've seen something similar around).

Convection dabs is something I'm going to look into more. My lungs are appreciating them much more actual dabs atm.

EDIT: Would a tiny thing like this make sense as a little insert for putting into the flower bowl for convection dabs?

I've been searching for 18mm or 19mm glass or quartz pore-plate filters... so far without success. :(

20mm quartz and glass fritted plates are available, but they are expensive so I've been reluctant to order a sample to see if the draw restriction is tolerable and if 20mm is too large for the FlowerPot I.D.

I'll let some other experimenter answer those questions for us... or find 18mm or 19mm stuff that we know would fit! :)

Dude, you could not be more correct!!! I'm seriously contemplating ordering a wrap-around today, not even for the SiC (well okay that too!) but just to compare to my SH since apparently it has a slightly restricted airflow (not that I could really tell when I tried yours, but the SH is really OPEN - FULL TILT). I dunno, it's not a need, more of a want but the way i'm justifying it is that I love this vape so much that I need at least a backup controller. If i'm ordering and paying for shipping might as well take full advantage and pick up a few spare accessories and whatnot!

And yes and LOL at the GAS flareup!!!!! This vape has changed the game and upped the ante on so many levels for me.

Going in to week 2 and there has not been one day where the wife has not said "I LOVE this vape". She's tried dozens of vapes, and has never said that before! Just another reason to buy another setup! Nevermind the fact that it's the SMOOTHEST vaporizer she's ever even used, even MORE so than the sv3. She can vape ground weed now! Yay! :rolleyes:

Tested a small scoop of kief slightly spred across the screen.....temp 660f no cap....WOOOOAAAHHH!!!! I have never, ever, had a pure kief experience in ANY vape i've ever used before in 11 years! The milk was absolutely insane, and the flavour off the charts. I HIGHLY recommend it if you haven't tried it already, doesn't have to be a full bowl, or even a 1/2 (although ho-lee-sheet that would be awesome, just don't wanna spare so much kief ATM). Just a small scoop and dial your temp (i've only tried it the one time), and prepare for some serious effects! Thanks for the idea @emmdeemo !

I did want to mention I've tried bowls with oil on top and it's great.

I played around with temps last night. Ive found 725 is great if you only load what you can take in one hit. Load too much and the second hit will taste about as bad as combustion, maybe worse.

523-525 uncapped is where I spend most of my time. I've noticed the modulation gives me instant medication. Moreso than a dab off a banger even. Just more balanced since it's full spectrum flower vapor.

I had two dabs last night. I'm still in shock how much I'm neglecting my rosin. :o

The FP is like it's own lil extraction factory. Turns your flower into on demand dabs. Why press rosin?

Just kidding I love my rosin but the FP is really a game changer. I cannot stress that enough.

@NewVape710 will soon have rosin gear on clearance I'm sure :lol:
