Got my EVO in and gave it a thorough testing out last night. Oh man, I LOVE this thing. This vape absolutely blows the Herbalizer away. It's crazy how well and consistent the ABV is...so much better than the Herbalizer. And the high...man I got blasted.

I tested it with the Precision Turbine I ordered it with, the FC 187 and the D022 bubbler. I still want to play with them all some more but I think right now my favorite pairing is with the D022 bubbler.

It's a heavy hitter with FLAVOR = EVO

This isnt the case for me, i prefer the taste with the turbine to the do22....
The turbine uses far less water....

The do22 flows a little easier, but i prefer the turbine still...

Anyway in glad your enjoying it...

Oh and i miss my evo.... 4 days till i get back to it....

Kelly did you get the big or little turbine?

I got the small one but I'm thinking I should have gotten the big one. After I had ordered I was watching one of Seibo's videos and he recommended the smaller ones for concentrates and the larger for flower. I primarily use it for flower.

Does anyone have a link to the Hydrabomb knockoff on DHGate?

I have 2 large turbines...
They are far from identical... manufacturing differences eh....

One flows smoother (less gluggy, more turbine spinny)...

I plan to get some knockoffs soon..

There is absolutely no point at all buying official glass.

I say this because I recently bought a mini (precision) turbine, and whilst holding it in one hand I lightly bumped the mouthpiece with my other hand when picking up my phone, the mouthpiece smashed straight off.

I inspected the place where it cracked and was surprised to see that in some places the glass was less than one mm thick! Shocking.

Anyway Vapexhale won't look after me but instead say actually it was too thin, then it wasn't, then I was using cm to measure not mm, then an offer for $10 off lol

Obviously it broke because it was too thin, so word to the wise - don't bother.

Iv cracked it... excuse the poor pun...

All you need to do, is tie all of your glass pieces to the ceilings where you use them...

This way when you drop things, they dont meet the endless, unforgiving tiles you seem to have...

That's the right attitude. That's why I buy China glass!!!

I don't like to own glass that's too nice for one of my friends to break. If a friend breaks one of my China bubblers, they usually panic and apologize and offer money...

And I wave em off! What's 30$ between friends? Just an excuse to try something new.

In fact, I like to give away my china pieces sometimes, as well as vapes. My best friend is using a Lotus + Hydrabas and MP i gave him, and an old friend is using a Vaporbrothers + old bong...

I like converting people to the good life :razz:

I haven't posted within this thread in forever and a day, but I felt remiss if I didn't come back around and continue to sing my praise for the Evo.

I've had to send it in once for a bamboo replacement and power switch issue. A friend's dog bumped the table it was on and it ended up sliding off. The power switch stuck got stuck on the "on" state and the bamboo, while not broken, become loose and could spin/turn inside the housing. Sent it off and got taken care of quickly and easily by CS.

I grabbed a Herbalizer out of curiosity and convenience, but more often than not, I go back to the Evo. The taste and cloud production is just so damn impressive. The Herbalizer is great for get-togethers in regards to how easy it is to use and how fast it gets to temperature, but I usually feel disappointed by the flavor. It's a fantastic machine, but the Evo just rises to the top for what it does in my mind.

How exactly did you use the Herbalizer by yourself? Hopefully you went "beyond the whip and the balloon" :)
With minor adaptation, it can be direct glass mouthpiece and/or direct hydratube , both of which blow away
the whip or bag IMO. With the slight mod, I find the taste to be totally pure, like the EVO. And the 7 second heatup
time can be welcome.

This isn't for this thread, but definitely try the Herbalizer and SSV whip tubing with a bong adapter before you give up on it. PM me for links

$ vs EVO = EVO is cleaner than the joints I smoked.

CANNABIS is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 x better than any vaporizer.

$ wise the EVO is pretty satisfying

$ is a factor as well.

If some idiot managed to get some flower into a hydratube - just one tiny little lump, what's the best way of getting it out? I've been shaking it furiously, and it's not moving.

Contemplating putting the tube in the oven, wrapped in foil to try and turn the flower to ash.

Any ideas?

NO, do not put it in the oven and try to burn it.

I was on my second ELB load of the first session ever with my EVO and was so blasted I forgot to put the top on the ELB and immediately filled my HT with ground herb.

After messing around with it unsuccessfully, I contacted VXH customer support and they said to flush water through it from the bottom! You know, the female joint that mates to the EVO. This works but it still takes some repeated cycles to get everything out.

This will happen again...if not herb you will have condensed reclaim in your glass....some PBW or ISO and then good flushing from the bottom gets it out.

You do need to look into the top part, see where the slits are, and maneuver the HT around a bit to get all water/ISO out but its not that hard.

The bit of a challenge of fully cleaning an HT is probably its only drawback.
