What's your favorite torch or lighter to use with the Vapcap?

There are a lot of ideas floating around my grey matter on the idea of some sort of base.

These inserts seemed perfect, had an idea on a VC rest well before I made my wind shield, as @Squiby has found it makes spinning effortless and the distance from the flame to cap is consistent, also thought about herb and AVB storage and a magnet for holding the VC in place and for cap removal.

Not many things have piqued my interest as much as the VC.
I believe in the product and the man behind it. He has done nothing but encourage me in the journey I'm setting out on and his love for all things VC no matter what or where they come from is infectious.

Hang in there @Mr. Me2 I'm hoping to be able to dedicate more time to VC related stuff in the New Year.

My current favorite for indoors is this Honest quad desk lighter. It offers pure laziness. Just rest the Vapcap on the open lid and twirl. It heats to a perfect click in two seconds flat retaining flavor through multiple tokes. The tank is huge and it sits square and stable. I'm going to get another for back up. I'm really enjoying this one.

Do you have a preferred seller for this lighter?

This single flame eagle torch is what I use on a daily basis with my OG great flame control and tank capacity.

I have 4 of these eagles I use with the OG. I don't understand why I have to turn the flame up as the tank gets lower. In turn it makes a bigger flame that just drains the tank faster lol.

I found a deal with four of those from which only two of them have been working fine.
And yes it's odd that as you're reaching half way, a bit more than that it starts "asking" for more fuel and you have to push the lever to the very end. Those that work fine tho, I have to admit that they're getting smashed properly and they're still going.

I learned the other day as it gets to the last 15% it will work if you use it horizontally. Past a certain point it won't fire at all vertically. Pretty quirky but oh well.

That explains why my triple torch is behaving better than the single for me. I use the single upright and have to adjust it a lot which is a bit fiddly with the screwdriver, but I use the triple horizontally. Ironically, the triple has an easy adjustment big wheel thing on the bottom, so it wins hands down as my favourite. Plus it's purple.. and I rest the Vapcap on the top of the lid as I twirl. Love it! :luv:

I'm glad I could be of help @Stevenski It's also available in 'gold and black' if purple isn't your thing. I really should leave a review on the site too.

I have the lighter that is probably the best design for the VapCap. Just rest the vc in the notch and spin. Has a large tank with sight glass. In the picture in the middle below in the space above the torch I installed a vc-magnet to hold my VapCap.
The cup amplifies the click.
phattpiggie is working on a body for my Omni with a ridge so the cap hits the sweet spot every time.
Works for me. Doc

Can you post a picture displaying where you placed the magnet?

Is it steady when standing on the small end when lit?

If you look at the picture in the bottom middle, I put the magnet just above the torch in the middle of that space.
I have a stand that holds it up right. The lighter will stand alone on the small end but needs a little help. You have to hold the button to stay lit.
I have had people come across the bar to have a look at it. Doc

Thx! Is it a stand made for this lighter?
