First time poster, long time lurker...
I have a Grasshopper on the way with an est October ship date. They keep pushing the dates back and this vape caught my eye. For one I need to replace my solo that I've had for a few years, and for another I don't know when I will get my Grasshopper. I'll be using this 50% of the time with water and mostly at home. Question is, will I still want to use this vape when my grasshopper comes? What does this do that the Grasshopper doesn't? I don't want to buy something that wont be getting any usage because my other vape does it the same or is more convenient. Anyone have both that could give me some advice?
Thanks,
Every vape is different, especially various convection units.
For one thing, they have completely different heaters and the Zion is open loop, more manual and capable of more power overall (more than you need even). In general it utilizes a simpler design so super durable with flaws less likely as well, there's just less regulation.
It also has far better battery life, and has a handbuilt feel vs GH new age polish. It doesn't get hot like Hopper on the body, can be sessioned as well as hit on demand just as well (if not better), probably more versatile overall despite its larger size. More like a crafted portable desktop without compromise
It has a longer vapor path so smoother dry with glass so potentially twice as tasty vs GH, but easy to hook up to 14 or 18mm glass like Hopper is with 14mm... So kind of a draw glass wise maybe? Hard to say for sure
