@Stu which would you say fits more snug the eq elb or the small vapexhale brand or are they basically the same thing.
I don't have an ELB but both the Arizer elbow screen and the ELB are meant to fit into standard 18mm connectors. Glass and screens being what they are, there is some variability among screens, stems, and connectors, so some combinations will be more snug than others. The elbow screens I use are snug enough in most of the stems and connectors I have, but in some of them the screen will fall out if inverted. I don't believe you can say that ELBs will fit more snugly than elbow screens or vice-versa. The variability is individual, not universal to one or the other.
Let me emphasize again that you don't need either of them, they're just options that some might like. The stock Zion screen works well and is more flexible. Both the ELBs and the elbow screens can't be adjusted since they are rimmed, so the distance to the load is fixed. The elbow screen has a small load size (~.15 g tightly packed) and holds the load close to the heater. The ELB is comparatively huge (I don't know its capacity, ask
sticks) but unless it is completely filled the load is further away from the heater. The Zion stock screen can be moved inside the stem/connector to vary the heater distance, and is therefore more flexible. My testing shows that heater distance makes a difference.
