Not a concern at all! Each of our beloved vape makers have all the right tools for making wood cut like butter, no matter if block shaped or turned round. My woods are solid, seasoned, and never cross-cut. It is very likely that even Zion starts with blanks similarly sized and shaped as blocks like those I provide.Snappo's blocks of wood are just beautiful. I suspect turning them on a lathe would be a lot easier than slicing and dicing then with saws and routers due to all the grain issues. Slicing a battery compartment door for example. I'm sure its possible, just probably a lot more difficult than softer woods like maple.
Just a thought to keep in mind and I'm mostly guessing this. @Snappo has the experience and should know whether this might be a concern or not.
Can someone please point me to the first impressions post?

My first impresssions are on page 39. There were a couple of others before me, @KeroZen and @thekarmawhore for sure.
Thank you very much from someone that was unable to order until just a few days after the lifetime warranty ended.What?... Lifetime warranty again on the Zion for the next 48 hours you say?
...and it's retroactive
The mighty just isn't cutting it lately and I don't know why.
How comes? Did your device performance change over time for some reason? Or it's just your tolerance swinging?
Sorry it's a little off topic but your remark made me curious.
