solid video for an awesome vape, this thing looks like it's going to be pretty sweet
Yeh @pakalolo any chance I can use them on my web page? It really makes her pop. Seeing the girls out in "the real world" is really quite surreal. Hey @thekarmawhore how does it feel having your design out in the light? The last thing we want is rushed report.
I did love those pic's,it's as if I had Jessica in my own hands.
Damn those were some crystal clear pics.
Jessica, including batteries and stem, weighs 313.3 g (11.05 oz), but Jessica isn't a production model.
I'll ask you all for patience. I want some time alone with Jessica before I'll share with anyone, including the beta team.

And yeah, great photos. I'm bettin those aren't from a phone camera.
For me, personally, I'm getting sick and tired of the reports in this thread that refer to dating and sex and all the other innuendo. It was funny at first but it is now tiresome and I simply will not read any more of it. Its to the point where I can't take this project seriously and its also annoying. Regular reports please.

def looks like those pros outweigh them consI hear ya, it's worn out. I'm generally one or two jokes late to the party anyway so no harm no foul.
ANYWAY...
Week one was spent pretty much with the output set 1/2 to above, and it was a bit harsh, but coming into the situation as a combuster with cloudy exhaust/harsh flavor as the norm, I didn't really know it, and though it tended to make me cough and/or sneeze, honestly I was satisfied with it's spirited performance characteristic.
Then per some advice from RBT, week two was spent with the output set to the lowest 10-15% of the dial, along with a 7-12 second pre-warming and this resulted in a much more flavorful and prolonged user experience and the coughing/sneezing disappeared.
With the Zion, maintaining a flat-ish temperature curve at the desired temperature level can only be achieved through technique, so there will naturally be a bit of "getting to know" the device.
One thing I really like about the Zion is the usage cycle. Like a pipe you can just pick it up, use it, and put it back down. No significant warm-up (or cool-down) required. I also like how the parts are rarely too hot to handle. Only after prolonged session style usage does the stem get warm enough to require delicate handling, and even then only along the ground portion where it engages the heater.
And since it's open loop with wide open flow and plenty of temp overhead, the user controls how fast and hot it runs. It never feels like drawing through a coffee stir.
So in a nutshell, after two-two and a half weeks here's my pros/cons list
Pros:
FAST!
efficient
packs a big punch
stays cool
plenty of power
standard fittings
has thus far kept me from combusting
Cons:
bigger than we'd all like
can overdo it if not careful
no low battery indication
stem gets quite grimy, maybe a finer mesh screen would help
has me obsessing over vaping now, and is distracting me from other responsibilities.
