@delloy: I see that you got the upgraded door that is thicker than the originals. Could you please post the dimensions in the Zion power supply thread, located in the DIY forum? I would need door thickness as well as dimensions of the side radius (width from edge of door to end of radius and also if it's centered or offset, or just post a picture seen straight from the bottom and I'll compute from that)

Bonus points if you can use metric units and not your barbarian imperial stuff! :p

@delloy Beautiful Zion you got there! Sorry to hear the batts are missing.
I for one haven't received any extras - so that should be alright.
Wish I could send you some 18650s, would do so right away - problem is shipping Li-Ions is strictly forbidden with my carriers.
Will you receive some soon anyways?

Thanks @vapen00b appreciate your thoughts. I spoke to Ryan yesterday and he is gonna ship out some batts for me but I have also ordered another set, hopefully they will be here in about a week. Everything takes that little bit longer to get to me here due to my location. I'm so looking forward to taking it out on its inaugral journey I've waited such a long time a week longer wont make isn't gonna make a huge difference :ko:

I paid towards the upper end of what the Zions were offered for (probably the highest actually, unless someone forgot to use the coupon code or something... which would have been closer to $400 then. I didn't pay close to $400) and I don't feel ripped off at all... Pretty happy I got in actually. Especially considering I'm probably watching him make my unit.

Also, last night I had a dream I got mine. Kinda random. But maybe it's a good sign!

Anyone else walking around quite blithely lately, knowing Zions are coming? Like finally KNOWING we are all getting our Zions. They're being built. Proof on IG. They're moving quickly. Soon enough, every one of us will have a Zion, and this thread will possibly be labeled Discontinued, but we will all have our Zions.

Not sure it will be discontinued. I spoke to Ryan this week and the plan is still to complete the Zion pre-orders, complete the Splinter pre-orders, evaluate sales/demand and then look at the possibility or more Zion, more Milaana (likely since there suddenly seems to be a bit more demand) and continue with Splinter.

He also has ideas for something else but that's not up for discussion right now. I told him to keep cranking Zion.

But yeah, it's great to see more going out and more satisfied customers. :tup:

The Zion is and will become a real classic.

Ryan has only just touched the market.

Starting slow is the best way to last a long time. The more out there the more people will see and want them.
Nobody else puts this much hand work and craftsmanship into this type of device..

Everyone is receiving emails to update shipping info if needed, correct? I'm not sure that Ryan has an address for my Zion since it was through the contest, but I'm about to move this month, so it'll be out of date even if he does. I hate to bug the man while he's in the groove, but I may reach out just to make sure things are squared up.

Had a great Zion sesh tonight. As I posted over on the Mi thread, I've been rotating thru my arsenal lately just for love. Now coming back to the Zi is just wonderful and makes me appreciate it so deeply. It's still something special to me, always will. I love my Zion and I can wait for everyone out there get theirs. Really, it's gonna be a better world - with love spreading vapor shooting cannons all over the world.... Well, I got carried away .., but you get the gist :D ;)


Anyway, here's a pic.
Hooked onto a @Oregonglassblower 18mm m2m adapter paired with some amber colored nectar collector dhgate bubbler... With warm/hot water.. Sooo delicious, so soothing!

The ride has begun! Ryan sorted me for some batteries and they got here within a week to the UK with an added bonus of a long black glass stem. Thankyou Ryan.

Only had the opportunity to try a few times and I'm still in the creche. Still learning usage grind etc. But love it!

It is such a perfect all in one solution for the environment I currently live in on a 1 mile long island 25 miles off the coast of the UK.

Don't you hate it when threads fall off your notifications? Was offline for a couple weeks and forgot to check here on return with no notifications. Sorry for all the late "likes" on posts!

Glad to see Ryan cruising along so well and more people receiving Zions! Still loving my Lucy much more than anything I've ever hit that doesn't require to be plugged in.

Biggest gripe about it is that it is so fucking great that I tend to take it out too much. Was out with it last week to see a friend's band at a local bar. Friends with band, and many others that see them when they can. EVERYONE F'N LOVED ZION!!! Some have tried other vapes of mine over the years with mixed responses, but the Zion blew them all away.

Have long road trip coming up in a couple weeks. Looks like the nano with inverter setup for the car is no longer necessary! I'll still take one along for once at destination, but no way I'm leaving Zion at home unless I'm flying. Really looking forward to my shifts of not driving while hitting Zi and watching the landscape go by.

Here's to Lucy the Zi, and Ryan - the master of unbridled cordless convection!! :cheers:

So if my calculations are correct and he took 25 days to build that last batch, and if it has been 20 days since he started this batch, maybe we'll be seeing some ship by next Friday? Id be happy if that's the case. Not discouraged if not though. Hoping for end of august - mid September.
