of course I go to put in new batteries and then the magnet comes out of the back and then I put it in the back piece but it went into the frame and now it wont close properly damn it the first night I have it hahah nvm I figured it out.

Update: I used the zion all day and night and wow I life this unit, especially with concentrates the flavors is so just so good in this thing. sometimes gets a little rough on the throat but the results are worth it. some of the biggest fastest clouds you can get on demand. I am so high right now..... fuckkkk haha

Happened to me also. The left one is stuck to the internal magnet. But you should be able to press it on/in the door and close firmly. Ryan knows about it and will post a vid on YT how to glue it back on. Minor bug, but I'm gonna be happy once it's all good again. Will be receiving my stash cap soon too. Big up to Ryan for helping a bro out, got it all covered.. Thanks!

Used concentrate ddave mod with a. Bed of flowers and some 24k sugar wax. Damn piece gets stuck to my lips and comes out of the heating chamber haha. Big clouds tasy ass flavor. Love this fuckin thing. Same password no capital s though. Enjoy, happy saturday

Btw i put my finger on the airpath at the bottom a lil bit like a pipe in the last hit and always seem to get some huge clouds this way

If you mean mine, the M2Ms on the pics on the last page are from chinese glass orders and are standard length and US jointed. The custom M2Ms I had made that are longer, and the long MP you see on the UFO are all from @Oregonglassblower . Be sure to tell him you will use them on RBT vapes so he uses US rather than ISO joints. My M2Ms from him are US on one side and ISO on the other.

As @cannabis.pro is working with Ryan making and selling Milaanas I imagine he has options as well.

Your praise on here as of late has been a reflection of my experience this weekend. My Zion showed up originally with a heater malfunction. I sent it back and all within a week or perhaps less even, I recieved a nice email from Ryan thoroughly explaining the problem, a tracking number and my fixed Zion which arrived this past Thursday with a token gesture for my patience throughout the short process.

I have been a big wax/shatter/crumble concentrate guy recently and I also squish rosin from time to time, much more often as of late so I typically neglect all my vapes with exception to the Puffco Plus for on the go and a dab rig setup for around the house. My grinders and flower vapes are actually neatly packed away. The Zion has been used at every at-home session since I received it Thursday. It goes great with a dab rig. I was envious of the Twax Flowerpot thread for a minute but the Zion offers so much!

I throw some unground in there. No problem turning that brown inside and out. Medium density clouds I would say. Nothing short of astonishing for a press the button simple wood craft vape. I also like to throw a load of rosin or some wax/shatter on top of a bud or wrapped in cotton fiber and the taste is super amazing. If its straight conc wrapped in cotton fiber I turn the heat all the way up and the vapor gets pretty dense.

Surprisingly...I have not used her on water yet. I have all the adapters and a stand for my enail with my brand new water rig right in front of me, I just have not been tempted at all with the smoothness from the Zion.

I have however been tempted to break out my Milaana earlier today and I had a chariot race between the two. The Milaana was off to a good start but I had to finish off with the Zion. Function is there in the Milaana but flavor wins hands down on the Zion.

I haven't been using 22 much because I've been getting to know other vapes first. But I am starting to use it and my experience seems to be different from others here. First, it took quite a while to get enough heat for any clouds. Quite a while means 3-5 minutes with new fully charged batteries and on the high setting. But before I got clouds the wood body got very hot. Not too hot to hold but hotter than my other wood vapes. The milaana and others do get as hot but that's after using them for several minutes- not prior to getting clouds. I usually turn them off when they get that hot.
I haven't read all the pages here but I'd like to know if anyone else has had this happen and if so how they handled it.

Highest temp should be able to combust .. right? So if you go to max and it doesn't feel even close to combustible, that would mean defective?

Shoot RBT an email. It sounds like either your heater is shorting on itself or the pot knob is stuck on the lowest setting.

I had similar symptoms and initially RBT thought it was a malfunction in the pot knob. After a physical inspection he diagnosed it to be a malfunction in the heater. It was something he was quite happy to find and fix.

Hey everyone/ @little maggie I am just checking in to say that I got my Zion a couple weeks ago but was experiencing the same problem.

I was told he received a bad batch of parts and so I sent it back to RBT. Within a week he sent it back and included an extra long stem for the trouble. This is very likely your same problem.

I wasn't expecting it to be so powerful, as before, you could press the button till the battery died and very little visible vapor was occurring... so, within my first couple tries after I got my Zion back, I ended up combusting a stem and made everything stink like shit inside the Zion.

Can't figure out how to get rid of the scent inside the vape, but it works very well now.

Now that I am getting more of a feel for her these past few days I have really been enjoying the Zion through water and am ordering some degummed hemp for the dry stems, as I personally find the hot air too irritating on my throat straight up.

Anyways, I am getting more hooked on this fellah the more I give it a shot, and I am quite impressed so far since getting it back from RBT. Zion porn will of course be forthcoming when I get the time, and I will keep giving her a shot for a good while now and will come back with some thoughts after I have spent a good amount of time with her.

Definitely send yours back if it isn't heating right, as it should definitely be able to combust, as I found out the hard way.

You don't need my redundant post, but nothing takes minutes with Zion or Milaana. As soon as you have checked your batteries to be sure they weren't the problem (which I assume you have done) the only possible answer is a defect. Sorry, but I'm sure Ryan will ask you to send it back.

Just for drill, in Zion, Left battery is positive facing up and right battery is negative facing up.

I received my production unit and have been loving it!

Ryan has really upped the quality and craftsmanship. His wood working skills have come along nicely since the OG Milaana days!

As expected the Zion has become a daily driver. I use it mostly dry direct draw (the taste is just too good not to) but I do like to crank it up for a nightcap and run it through water.

Here is a pic with my Hydrabomb. I love how these sleeves I got from @Ratchett slip right over the glass stem. So damn convenient!

Sorry others have had some issues. I do know that Ryan is focused on continuous improvement so he will be eager to correct your unit and learn.

I'll come back with some more thoughts and a comparison versus the late beta model I received. Both have the Turbulator but the improvements beyond that are significant.

PS: how comes your "late beta" has a turbulator? The first production run had none AFAIK. Until unit #20ish or something?

It should be much more difficult to get hot spots in your average load, from what I understand. None of my units have turbulator, but the difference seems to be subtle for the users that have it; it's not making something new happen, it's just heating the load more consistently and keeping the users from seeing the usual convection hot spots.
Fwiw, if you shoot Ryan an email/txt, he may actually know based on the unit number if you have a turbulator installed.
