I attempted to purchase around august 12-13, 2015 but the site wouldn't accept my payment. I advised RBT who replied on yep... 14th Aug...that he would look into it and get it sorted, which he did and i paid early Sept 2015.

So looks like 'technical difficulties' have put me in the second tier, but i experience them quite often and am quite used to it, so no problem, happy to wait.

In fact, i kind of prefer to wait in case any further issues are uncovered in this next batch. I'd rather not have to send a unit back half way around the world.

My only slight concern is access to the spiffy coloured glass. @RastaBuddhaTao will this be available to the not quite so early adopters? Happy to pay a little extra as long as the option is available to grab a black and/or colour changing option.

If I might offer words of comfort/support to those that are waiting, or curious. This is an artisan device, it is not plastic, it is not made overseas, it is FULL ON convection, it has removable batteries, it has a warranty whose limits are yet to be measured. It is made by a guy that you would gladly sit down and enjoy a session with. In the essence of the warm environment that is FC, can we check our attitudes with regard to the instant gratification protocol. I was and am 1 of the 3, we got to experience the impact of Zion, and then it was snatched away.........now the impact has returned. May your wait for the train be manageable, the ride is worth the wait.

ALL ABOARD!



p.s. when you take a draw from your Zion you can hear grasshoppers dying......

I'm sorry to tell you but I think Irene is moving in with me any day now. Or at least Ryan said he was sending me #18. I have no memory of color changing stems. I have different colored stems for my milaana but where did the color changing ones come from.
I couldn't remember my exact number except that I was in the first 10 and I think maybe 5. Actually I looked back to the beginning of the thread and it looks like the first 10 were betas so I must have gotten mine after. But I ordered during the initial sale.
There's lots of great info in the first 50 pages or so about what adaptors and water devices were helpful. I got my haze water adaptor stuck and broke my DO20 and FC 186 before I learned to not use it so I need to decide which one to buy now.

She was 18 when she came to me, I swear. We had a thing that couldn't last, and then she returns. What can I say, I have fallen harder for her now than the first time. If she must leave me, I know you will love her maggie. So be it, you must come and pick her up in person. That's the only way I am letting her go.
Don't tell my wife, please.....She thinks I am still obsessed with high end glass, if she knew about VAS it would be a dirt nap for me.....If I may recommend OGB as a source for the angled mouthpiece, it works a charm.

What kind of relationship could you have had when you believe that she's returned to you when it's an anonymous other you have?

That's what happens when you have been waiting since 2015. And tracking says mine should come today which is unlikely.
You were one of the first or were you the first to get what became a zion?
And I still don't understand when the color changing stems came. I use water. What would you recommend since you are a zion expert?

Nope, first Zion user was Ryan's friend @MrPeanut (hope you are doing fine mate btw?) then @pakalolo got his alpha before me IIRC? But yes, I'm part of the early lucky few and have been a strong supporter since.

The color changing stems are a very recent addition. Ryan said those having waited the most would likely get a freebie or two, could be that you'll get one in your parcel? If not, definitely bug him to get one, you more than deserve it!

I can't help you on the water front but I can say that with the long stem (and to a lesser extent the medium one) you can hit the Zion dry without getting throat/mouth discomfort. Really a huge difference compared to the Milaana, which in turn is already so much better than the FW2 (or the X-Max) with its tiny ridiculous mouthpiece.

Cooling surface does play a HUGE role IMHO, both for comfort and taste. It can make all the difference. And a big advantage of the Zion here is that the long stems don't feel (visually) out of place like with Mi (because you can use them in the Mi too, but it looks a bit silly let's be honest)

I can't comment on the water part, I never use any. There's a big cultural gap here between the US and the Old Continent. Use is less prevalent.

Sorry @little maggie, the unit headed out to you is #22.

The only reason the color glass is "limited" is that all remaining stock was purchased from the distributor or I would just buy more. Every Zion customer will be treated to something special as RBT wouldn't exist without your support. I mean, with 4/20 right around the corner I would think an exclusive offer should be sent to all RBT customers don't ya think?

So, this week the Zion train is rolling and I obtained my medicinal marijuana approval here in NY. Best week of 2017 yet! Well, off to work on Zion.

Come watch the progress on IG Live on the coming weeks. Seems like a cool way to share the experience with all that are interested. Tonight will feature magnet installation and hopefully some sanding. Stop by to chat or just lurk :)

When I ordered my Zion yesterday, I saw a Zion Train page. Is that something for the early pre-order customers, or is there a reason for new customers to complete the form? TIA
