I did it. I bought a Zion. I wanted to try using paypal, but now I feel like I am regretting it. I've never used paypal before, so I don't really trust it. I created an account just for this purchase and may delete it later.
To make matters worse, the way the whole RBT website is set up is very confusing. For the regular Zion, I had to specify special instructions for shipping outside the US despite being in the US: I submitted "Will not let me purchase without filling this out. I am in the US." I wanted to buy a longer stem in my original purchase, but it wouldn't let me and wanted me to specify a non-us country to ship it to. It wouldn't let me add it to my original cart so I haven't added it yet. Also, after my purchase was reported to have gone through, my shopping cart still isn't empty.
I'm actually pretty frustrated over this whole thing between the rigmarole of dealing with paypal and the purchasing process on the RBT site.
Halloween is cool and all, but if I get this before the holiday season really kicks off, I will be happy. I want to go to the rich neighborhoods and check out their christmas decorations. and Thanksgiving? Oh man.
Thanks for the reply, Shit Snacks. I'm excited to get this one and I hope it will be my new permanent vape for a while.

No. As long as you don't affect the functional or structural integrity. I think RBT actually encourages personalization, provided you share pictures. Just be careful what kind of paint or stain you use. You don't want something that will make it taste or smell funny. If I paint a little art on my zion, will that screw up the warrenty?
I would also keep any paint away from the air inlet hole as well. Just to insure absolutely no pollution of Zion's lovely flavors. Thanks you. Only real info found about it doing a quick check on google said basically be safe to do, and only painting outside not inside cap part. Assuming I won't be inhaling any paint. Anyway one comment said would void warrenty for that company, so wanted to check before I do anything.

I actually think it's a good idea to have a shipping threadOnly @RastaBuddhaTao can answer shipping inquiries, and everyone will be better off if he's not flooded with questions. Please exercise good judgment.
If people keep talking about shipping here, I will be forced to split off a thread. I'm only asking one more time: please don't discuss shipping or your expected delivery date in this thread. Anyone who finds this restrictive can start a shipping thread in the Lounge and I'll make sure it winds up in the right place.
Thanks for your cooperation.
I wonder how much the production Zion's have changed from the beta units? I hope it performs flawlessly and production goes smoothly!!!
So will the international orders be shipped way later then ? I assume they're probably at the back of the pack.
Let us all leave the talented Zionites alone as they make their magic! Time to think of cool names in anticipation of the coming HOLIDAYS!!!
Ziggy?
Gus? (my favorite name of all time, name of my best friend Boston Terrier who passed last year)
Ben?
Brion?
