when using a vape like the vapor brothers, i fill the bowl with about .15 gram of herb and tap it down.
then when i place the whip on the heating element, some of the herb usually falls onto the heater.
i've tried packing the bowl differently and tilting the vape forward, but there must be a better method.
how do you deal with this? thanks for any tips.

Solod out.
Tilt the vape forward. Put something under the back legs. I know, that's the worst thing about the VB, great vaporizer though.

The story is that they came up with that angle so the whip wouldn't push the box around during use. Not a good solution IMO but it was adopted by other box vape makers as well. The position of the box doesn't matter for vaping though. Turn it upside down or lay it on its side if you like.

It's odd, I use a Vapor Brothers and I pack it pretty full sometimes, my technique is this.

I load it, then take a pull as I put the whip onto the heater, some tiny pieces fall near the heater but never seem to burn, I have checked multiple times after sessions, all brown and cooked evenly(I tend to mix it every 6-7 pulls).

Never had a burning issue, I don't angle it any odd way, just site it down like its made. I am sure there could be improvements but to be honest its almost perfect for me, it looks damn classy also compared to most Vapes imo...

Whether your herb dumps on the heater cover or not with that downward angle will depend on how you pack the bowl and the consistency of the herb. Generally if it's sticky it'll stay put, but the drier and/or more finely ground it is, the more likely it'll be to fall out.

I pack it usually to the point where I can see it slightly coming out the glass part, most of the time its pretty dry actually, I just never had the issue of it falling to the point of hitting the heater or burning, I am a bit confused that people have this happening. :\

It would really be terrible if it did that, not even sure if it would have a good reputation if most had those issues...maybe the VB team can chime in? I mean why would anyone buy a 200 dollar box if it burnt herb? I am not saying it can't happen but I think it would be rare or people packing it way to much possibly.
