Hysteria much? Seems like I'm not alone when I say that PIU and Randy have always taken great care of me personally and more important the FC community in general. I have heard of Randy letting a member keep an Arizer Extreme that was accidently sent to him, so your claim of Randy refusing to send you a $100 vape that cost him much less sounds pretty odd considering.

Plus harrasing people usually doesn't get you much help, and according to Randy's post, you acted quite immature. I thought Canadian's were nice dude... :/

low tolerance is underrated
if i am (or a friend is) in the market for a particular vape, PIU is the first place i look. and if they stock it, best believe i'm getting it from them. i've purchased from PIU multiple times and will happily continue to do so as i know i will be treated right. Randy has simply earned my business, appreciation and respect. imo Randy's above and beyond approach is unmatched and a rarity these days.

on my last purchase, 2 months ago, there was an issue with my order. he had run out of stock of the vape i ordered. in addition to promptly offering a refund, he gave me the option to instead upgrade my purchase to a higher priced (+$100) model for free. he even offered to deliver it personally to my house. i of course opted for normal mail delivery as i didn't wanna trouble the man who has already been so accommodating. the next day or two, my package came, as always loaded with a gang of freebies. and then a month later arrived a free fc lanyard.

... above and beyond
nuff said.

Thank you everyone for the great comments. I can't express how much pride we take in giving the best customer service, a little positive reinforcement goes a long way with us (:

We always have room for improvement. This year we took on the goal of being available on chat and phone 24 hours, for a 4 person team that is not a easy task. Eric is working late at night and Steve took the bullet for the rest of us and starts taking calls at 4 am.

We have some cool new ideas that we are still working on but I am very excited about. My favorite idea is a real time video response for technical questions, so if you have a technical question about a product we will be able to respond right away with a video, using one of our demo vaporizers for an example. If anyone can recommend a good anonymous, or one way video client please let us know.

Stu: thanks for reading about us in the Guardian, they have a very cool article about Magic Flight in the next issue. We just got confirmation of our tax status ( meaning we won ) so we plan on getting back in dispensaries as quick as possible and restarting our free Vaporizer program.

A similar idea has been floating around here and most of the responses have been overwhelmingly positive. It looks like the "anonymous" part might be the problem, especially with even Google about the change their privacy policies and interlink all their services. I love the idea. I wish I could help more, but at least this is a starting point...

Congrats! This is amazing news. And the free Vape program sounds just as compassionate as you, Randy. You and PIU have always been amazing to me (BTW FCers, and aesthyrian ;) , I'm the guy who got to "keep the EQ" because of a shipping error, so I can vouch that its all true). I love it when good thing come to good people.

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right
PUffItUp ships out of San Jose. If you order today they'll most probably have it ready to ship today. Depends on how you have it shipped timewise. USPS has a holiday on Monday 20th so they won't do anything with it until Tues. Overnight would then be Wed. If there is a UPS or FedEx option I think they are working on Monday so overnight should get it to you Tues.

Don't know however if PuffItUp is working on the holiday though. :/

I understand Randy is trying to keep the IM/Chat covered 24/7 so you should just ask them of course.

I've talked with all of the puffitup staff(Mflb makes chatty!) They really go out of their way to help there customers with any problem whatsoever. They go above and beyond any company i've ever dealt with.

Order from puffitup, You will NOT regret it! Love my fc lanyard too!

I ordered a solo and car adapter on Sunday the 19th. I was told it would ship out tuesday and be here wednesday. Its thursday and still nothing, i paid an extra 20 bucks to get overnight and im just a few hours north of san jose. I was already frustrated today, i hope its here tomorrow, if not thats really annoying to pay extra for nothing. :/ :/

Don't be patient! The Solos are bad A$$ vaporizers so I hope you are excited to get it. I just checked your tracking and your solo should only be a day away. This was sent out 2 day Priority and not Express as requested. That was our bad so I refunded Double the shipping amount (:

The Solo is really a great product so far. I love how it comes precharged as well, really nice to be able to use out of the box.

Yes...it's the finger from a silicone oven mitt that I added one hole where I inserted a ball chain w/a keychain clip & a hair tie to hold it in, using the metal part as stay!

I'm not sure what a "Day Dot" is. I'm guessing a brand. But I paid $1 for it at Dollarland some months back.
It was like a mitten w/index finger & thumb. BUT, sooo stiff it was more of a pain to use then it was helpful! 1st piece, I cut out'a the palm, was to use w/my hot glue gun! ;)

Then, after getting startled during a session & burning my hand. Making me realize even just dropping it in a pocket could be dangerous, I went in search of...
1st I tried rigging something using a copper plumbing end cap & an "AirBorne" tube w/unsatisfactory results. Then...I remembered that mitt!! And to my luck...fits like a "Glove" (LOL pun intended) It hasn't come close to melting, and keeps hot end safe & the "business-end" warm between fills!
And NOW w/that FC lanyard...it's AWESOME! But, I am in still in search of the "perfect" lighter for it!

So...who Won the Bet!

norcal: Glad we got it to you before the weekend, pack a few for us :) The solos are surprisingly good vaporizers now that they have been updated. We are trying to figure out the best way to take water pipe hits with the Solo, if you come up with any ideas let us know.

Just had another great experience shopping with Randy at PuffItUp. My sister's birthday is next week, and Randy went above and beyond to make sure I got an M107 for her. Can't say enough about the excellent customer service and as always, as long as they sell it this is where I will be satisfying my vape needs.

@Puffitup Not sure if I can mention this here but Planetvape is now selling a Solo Gong attachment in 14mm and 18mm.

well to be honest i ordered the gong adapter from plantevape. So i can use the solo with glass. i think they make them in house. should be perfect.

oh did i mention i love the Solo and puffitup.com. thanks for all the swag too!

I ordered a solo from Randy mon the 20th. I received a e-mail saying it was shipped tue the 21st. I just checked usps tracking because i thought it would be here by now since everyone says that Randy has it on your desk in a couple of days, It says it has not left san jose till the 24th evening. Well, what happened to the 3 days it sat there. Hate to say it but I have ordered from vape world before and if i would of bought the solo there I wouyld be using it today.
