Why does my weed disappear when I vape?

Hi guys, I have one of those desktop vapes that uses a whip. I noticed that after each hit I take, some weed disappears from the whip. The screen is in place pretty good, so it's not the weed simply falling out. Does anyone know why some weed disappears everytime I vape? Is this normal?

For example, if I put in 0.6 grams, then about 0.1-0.2 disappears with each hit I take.

The way he's describing it, it sounds abnormal... Loading a chamber with a .6 and each hit loses .1-.2? I load my chamber with .25 and it lasts me 4 full bags. ABV, however, does weigh less.

is the inside of your tubing clean? are you eyeballing this discrepancy or weighing it?

Exact same thing happens with my oils, I do a .1 dap and there is 0 left when i am done, it is really depleting my stash! LOL

Then it's probably going nowhere. The load is always smaller coming out because, as was already pointed out, it loses moisture in the process. It should weigh less as well.

Dried plant matter will still contain 10-15% residual water weight and extracted goodies should be an additional 10-20% dry weight so losing approx 30% of mass via dessication and extraction will result in shrinkage.
