Why does fresh vaped weed smell like tuna?

After every time I vape I smell the vaped herb and it smells just like tuna fish. I save all my vape weed and after a while the smell goes away. Can anyone clarify this for me?

Fresh, canned, or grilled tuna? Never thought mine smelled like tuna...(more like 120 Lovibond roasted, cracked barley, but I never let the herbs get dark brown like that unless I'm using the Iolite...)

Do you vape after making/eating lunch, playing with unclean girlfriends, etc?

Seriously, I don't know what I'd liken the smell to, but tuna hasn't occurred to me.

No seriously i vape at 280 F until its dark brown and thats what it smells like. No unclean girls or lunch foods involved. Wise guy

But, seriously, canned, raw, or grilled tuna (raw is mild, canned is salty/fishy, and grilled is mostly fishy IMO)?

Maybe eventually you will find someone who has had a similar experience?

Does it smell at all like tuna before being vaped? Does the vape smell at all like tuna?

edit: If this a joke, you have gotten me to sniff my freshly vaped bowls (bowls, not balls ). Still no signs of tuna, just some faint resin smell and a lightly-toasted/hot aroma (like a hairdryer would produce, but with a hint of resin)

What are you using? Did you know that THC doesn't vaporize as that low of a temp? In other words, no matter what your display says (I assume it's digital), your actual temp is higher than that.

As for the smell, I doubt you'd find a forum where a thread title like that doesn't get a wise crack or three. Does it smell like tuna to anyone but you?

Yes my roommate can verify that it smells like tuna. whether it is heating at 280 or not we r getting blitzed out of our skulls which is all that really matters No it does not smell like tuna before we vape it. It really only smells like a strong scent of it is when i break it up with my fingers and get a big whiff. And to answer the what kinda tuna question it smells like stinky vage not store bought in cans.

ive seen treatments for mites that contained neem and fish oils, hence the fish stench. I would agree that its your herb or some herb you've smoked in the past.

looks like you picked up some O.G. Tuna, a close relative to Afgan Tuna, Tunawreck, Northern Tuna, Grand Daddy Tuna, and Tuna Haze

It isn't the bud or the strain because it smells like it every time i am done vaping. That's how i know it is done when it smells like tuna. I would have thought at least one other stoner out there agreed with me.

After reading this thread and giving my latest ABV stuff a whiff, I'll go out on a limb and say it kinda has a little bit of a "tuna-steak marinated in soy sauce and grilled" kinda odor.

Mmm, grilled seafood...
