Why do passwords need to be redone at FC?

It seems like the site, every so often, drops holding passwords and then it must be reset. Does this happen to others?

I have only logged in once since the new site has been up, so no. Do you change IP address a lot perhaps, like use different wifi networks to go on FC?

i read this forum at home (opera, win7), on my laptop (opera, mac osx), on my iphone and at work (also mac os).

From time to time i need to relogon. Most often i would say with opera on my iphone.
But today i also had to do it at work.

I attribute it to the fact that i use so many different systems / ip-adresses ....

There's a big difference between having to reset a password and just getting bumped off the site and having to log back on. The former doesn't happen, AFAIK, while the latter can be fairly common from time to time.

If you are talking about getting logged out, this is most likely a cookies issue with your browser.

Make sure you are going to www.* if that's where you logged in. If you log in without the www.* then that's where you have to go, as well. Unless of course, perhaps, you log into both www.fuckcombustion.com AND fuckcombustion.com
