You misinterpreted me. My comment was directed towards your statement saying education ,renewable resources, etc was unimportant
If Donald Trump isn't nominated the GOP will be giving Hillary a free ticket for presidency and I will be getting the fuck out of this country.
Either way, the GOP will be giving Hillary a free ticket for presidency. Reason being, Trump can't possibly win a general election, and if he's not nominated, he'll run as a third party candidate, splitting the Republican vote. Most of his supporters will stick with him in the latter case, but their numbers won't grow much beyond where they are currently. I believe he's in this only for the power his voter block will give him when it comes down to the wire. Can you imagine the concessions he can get for endorsing the eventual Republican candidate?
I haven't voted for a Democrat in my 43 years as a voter, and I sure as hell won't vote for Hillary. Is it just me, or is this the worst candidate pool ever, regardless of party?

How obvious can a Clinton presidency be when polls put Trump or Cruz neck and neck with her?
Trump is neck and neck with Clinton? ...
I'd be more likely to vote for Pat Paulsen than Trump even though Pat died.
Initially came to post this picture that I found funny:
I agree with the guy above who said that the election this year just seems pretty awful across the board. This was what I initially came to post, how crappy the candidates seem but then reading the thread got me thinking about things, which is what follows. No offense to anyone, just my thoughts.
To the guy above who said America is in shambles because of the last X amount of Republican presidents and wants to leave, go ahead. I don't mean to offend, but you're clearly unobjective when it comes to it, judging by your post. I'd rather have an educated objective opinion rather than one which will shoehorn all Republican presidents as ruining the country, while Bill Clinton (and every other Dem not mentioned) was just THE BEST. We should ignore the financial crisis he helped contribute lol, we should ignore him signing DOMA ? All good, he soley moved the country forward..... (I don't mean to pick on you, but your comment was one in particular that stood out to me)
Every president has done their fair share of progressing the country, and fucking it over. I don't believe Jimmy Carter was the weakest president and totally spineless, he (or his administration) actually if I recall secured the release of the hostages, but since Iran hated him, they waited to screw him over in the public eye, but still was a relatively ineffective president. George Bush may have invaded Iraq on some shady pretenses, but the Middle East was the more stable then, than it is now. Pro's and cons to everything. I wish that people in general would just look at everything with a bit of a broader lens.
FYI, Democrats always say how much they are doing for minorities, the needy, low income, but they are the ones who are chiefly keeping them down there with the always lingering promise of a better tomorrow and keeping them tied to the system with their programs..... or is it all the red devil republican's fault? I'm not saying that Republican's are putting minorities at the forefront and prioritizing them, but it's a false belief that the Democrats are. Just something you never hear.
I also don't mean for this to turn into a pissing match, and the reason I shy away from politics is because that is what it ends up becoming. I can find tons of articles that will support either stance to the upmost extreme. You can find one by LiberalNews.com and I can find one by ConservativesRUs.com , and their is probably truth in each of them, but now my perception of your news is questioned because I know its from a Liberal leaning source, just like how your perception of my news should be questioned because you know it leans right. Neither that objective. I just wish people wouldn't look at such extremes and absolutes all the time is really all I'm trying to say.
