@kellya86 it is an interesting article and please do not feel you need to leave the thread. Your opinion is just as valid as mine.
Two things stood out to me in the article:
Regular users of marijuana frequently claim that this tolerance reduces troublesome side effects, such as loss of coordination.
Patients who require marijuana for medical purposes generally discover what dose provides steady maintenance of therapeutic benefits and tolerance to the side effects, both depressant and stimulative.
So perhaps there lies the difference; the usage between recreational and medical. While getting high is a pleasurable thing for me, it's not the reason I use marijuana anymore. That was the 'old' me; the pre-pain days. My usage reasons have completely changed with my physical changes. Now, I medicate throughout the day to keep a balance. It's not till night time that I want to actually feel buzzed (well.. tbh on weekends too, lol).
I do find it interesting that the article says that the more you
smoke the less high you get and wonder if the same holds true for vaping. While there are those days that seem like I just can't get high, they aren't the norm. I usually have no problem at all if that is my goal.
