Which portable vape?

It's tax return time and I'm in need of a quality portable. I've looked at many of the threads here already and have a good idea what I'm looking for. I ask your opinions FC because well you guys are smart and know your vapes!
So I was leaning towards the Sidekick but with the low battery run time I don't think so. The others that stand out to me are the Solo and Air.

What is most important to me is:
power- I'm used to the LSV
battery life- extra batteries
taste- I'd prefer all glass pathway
ease of cleaning
can use with bong

I know there are more factors but those are the most I'm concerned with. I want something that is reliable...a solid track record of performance. Enlighten my FC, or at least point me in the right direction. Thanks,
Ron

Hey Dabs, yes I'm well hope you are too my friend! I just really need to fuck combustion on the go

I'll have to check out the Zion and Firewood 3 threads...not too familiar with those. I don't want to spend more than 300 altogether. I am stoked though, because now i can take my glass pipe out of my car and retire it for good. Sweet vapor on the go sounds amazing.

Yeah brother, I feel ya on the cash.... I figured we got some commonalities, I can't afford a Mighty.

The Solo, With PVHEGonG..can milk your bong bro..

Even in Straight stem dry mode, the flavor is off the charts..clouds aren't HUGE this way, but very efficient, gets me where I need to be with very little material.

My vote is for one of the Zion vapes - haven't tried one personally, but I feel like it hits all the bases for you

If stealth is a concern, I'd suggest the grasshopper - it's the best portable stealth vape in my experience.

I would suggest the Solo 1st or the Arizer Air if you need stealth. Both units would serve you well and checks off all on your wish list. The Solo IMO wins out over the Air in the taste department. Both units are well made with excellant materials and I agree you can't beat an all glass air path.

There are several stems/mouthpieces you can get through Planetvape to switch things up a bit.

But I like it!
+37 for the Zion, but only if you like the feeling of your head being unscrewed like a mason jar...

Not sure why anyone would recommend a vape that is unavailable unless you are a May or June preorder good luck getting one. Either that or it is a spiteful fuck you from the Zion crowd at the jealous masses ;). @Ratchett to @killick we should wave at the little folk all the way down there once in a while

I have followed the ups & downs of the Zion thread since Juneish 2015 & it looks like a true gamechanger once it becomes available. I just try & ignore what I can't have until it is available

@I'm Ron Burgundy? I would be looking at a Solo/Air - Haze - Mighty/Crafty - MiniVap if you want a portable you can realistically get in the next 6 months.

If you want to take a calculated gamble get a Firewood 3 as whilst not a big manufacturer it can play with the big boys & may fill the gap until the Zion becomes available to the general public for a convection portable.

I very much considered leaving the Zion off the list, just because of the reasons you mention....

I have never wanted a product sooooo bad, and... Well, maybe 2020?

I know I'm seriously considering never looking at the upcoming and unreleased section again.

:bang:

I never thought I'd be jealous of a Vaporizer, but it happened..

Meanwhile...
I'll try to retort with a big ass jar of 6 star bubble hash, that shatters at room temperature...in DaBuddha with a Rad ass MoDD to heighten my high.

That said....
:argh: Damn you Zion owners!!!!

Damn You!

I curse myself quite a bit @Hashtag46&2 . What I should have done was preorder the Zion back in September when I could have & also ordered the single unregulated beast for $89 :argh:. Now one is unavailable to foreigners & the SUB is $129 & with the exchange rate going further south it doubles the price for me.

I hope that Zion technology is rolled out to a production facility & RBT can get a quality reliable product to market, with luck those markets will include outside North America.

Hearing you there! Wish I just ballsed up at the time, or got onto the zion with third party delivery. Pre ordered a USB but might see if I can swap it and up pay to a zion when they reach production, then go through third party shipping.

I'm not too keen on the pre-ordering a vape that hasn't hit the market yet.
How much is the Zion going to cost?
I'm curious as to why everyone is recommending this vaporizer, what is its main key feature?

Giant on-demand convection hits in a portable device, swappable 18650 batteries, wood, stainless steel and glass in the vapor path, completely free-flowing unrestricted draw, pairs easily with water tools and has huge power... the list is long. Ah I forgot mentionning the flavor... so yummy!

Pre-orders are shipping right now, the wait shouldn't be too long. The entire Z-team gave the green light and the seal of approval, it's a great vape and when so many people from different horizons say the same, maybe there is some underlying truth? :)

It does sound very enticing but how much is this thing? I can't find the price, also I really don't want to wait forever to be able to order one...unless it's a short wait. I mean if this vape is over 300 bucks then it's out of contention for me.

I go where the thrills are
The "power" and "taste" boxes are ticked nicely by the Mighty. (I don't think any of the other options can match the Mighty in the "power" category....but not sure how important that one aspect is to you.)

FIY production heater of Zion is on par with the mighty in terms of power (peak Watts output)

Many vapes & accessories. Always happy to help
Check out the Firewood 3 (convection) or Arizer Air (comduction, but I love this one!) to buy for now and be sure to jump on the Zion train for later... Or the single batt. Another promising soon to be released portable convection: Venus Apollo!

Can't go wrong that way! :)
