Which Desktop Vape Under $200

I'm leaning towards Da Buddha cause I've heard so many great things about it. Is it still the best for <200? What would be the bad qualities about it? How is the warranty? Can it be honored internationally? I am in Canada.

I own an Arizer Solo for almost a year now and the vapor quality and hits are phenomenal. I've never used a desktop vape before, how does it compare to my Solo? Is it worth the purchase of a Desktop?

I too love my nano, use it every day, morning and night! I basically leave it on all the time (turned down when not in use), so it's ready to hit as soon as I am.

Flavor is fantastic, but the direct draw stems can kinda kill my throat, so I mostly use it through a water pipe. I'm waiting on a steamroller (and carbed GonG) from JoDa... hopefully that will let me get the amazing dry hit flavor without so much irritation.

I didn't think I could be in love with an object, but I've got a serious affair going on with my Enano. If my husband isn't jealous, he should be.

That said, I haven't any vapes to compare it to, I can only speak as a new vape enthusiast coming straight from combusting. I was dubious about the claims of how little it uses and for about two weeks I happily overstuffed it and cranked the heat. Even then I was using far less than combusting, but once I started using the recommended depth on the adjust-a-bowl and finessing the temperature, it was like finding bonus weed.

I hear great things about using it through water, so it looks like this sweetheart isn't done impressing me yet.

I'm really enjoying my Heat Island as well. Log vapes are great - nice, small, simple, and not much to go wrong with them. The Nano has a built in vvps which makes it really attractive.

But the EQ is a good performer as well, giving you the opportunity to use bags when you want, which is also fun (although I've not filled one in quite awhile). It was my first desktop and still gets pulled out of storage every now and then...

People rave about the E-Nano so I'm sure that would make a great first desktop. I've tried two log vaporizers and didn't like them very much but that's just me.

If you are on a budget you can really beat an EQ or DBV. Both can be had for around 145 on eBay and you can blow clouds with either if that's your thing.

Another vote for the Enano. It's a beast power wise, but in a petite body. Plus, when it's cool out, it makes an awesome hand warmer.

The Daisy is worthy of your consideration as a desktop vape even though it's technically a portable. Read a few pages of the Daisy forum. You will see what I mean.

If so, it's $200USD, after currency conversion, possibly tax, and shipping charges. I'm looking at $300CAD. Somewhat out of my budget right now. Hmm..

There are a few that are made in Canada. Arizer (maker of the Extreme Q) and Inhalater, and I'm sure there are others.

Just looked at the Extreme Q, it's way too bulky and too fancy for my taste. The more bells and whistles it has, the more likely that something will malfunction. I like the simplicity of the Enano. I'll most likely wait around a bit for either the price to drop or our currency exchange rate does a bit better.

I've also used a UD and it's pretty much just as nice as the nano. The nylon stems remind me of my PD days...

The major difference is that no temperature control is included for the UD. The default temperature is usually good, but control can be achieved with a VVPS. The UD is also a bit more straightforward to power from sources other than American mains electricity.

Keep in mind with simplicity you lack refined control. It's not hard to cook all the flavor away. Do you want a club or a scalpel?

I like having a temp readout so I know when to take a hit. It makes good experiences more repeatable.

Check out the Herbalaire (HA), imo.

It is made in Canada and can be had for around $150, these days.

Though it has never gotten any love in here, it is a great, simple design (like a thermos), is smallish in size and rugged as hell, with an over 10 year proven track record, and is the most versatile and reliable vape around. In fact, any problems/returns are almost non existent. It is such an under rated, powerhouse desktop unit, and the company customer service has been quite excellent.

It features precision temperature control, excellent heat retention, and can be used with bags, whip, direct, or inverted directly to your glass/water. It is ridiculously easy to use and doesn't even need grinding to give the most even and thorough extraction of actives out of any vapourizer on the market. It also features an unlimited 3 year warranty.

I like to think of my solo as my HA's little "brother".

3 years with my EQ no problems


@RUDE BOY your post made me look intk the Vapolution. I have an EQ already but with VAS kicking in I wanna grab this lil guy. Ive been wanting a whip vape with a smaller bowl size than the EQ
