This may have been made almost 50 years ago, but in my opinion, it's as fresh and relevant today as it was then. This is the sort of magic that film used to radiate. They don't make movies like this anymore...

I don't know about you, but this scene changed my life for reasons I won't go into, for your benefit (only good memory of me and my father, okay! )... It was even more important than the first time I saw Godzilla...

Do NOT fast forward even a moment of it, no matter how many times you've seen it. It gets better every time. I assure you, it will be worth it. May even bring a tear to your eye, inexplicably...

If you want the rest, you should rent it! It's 3 hours of Heaven...

Sounds like me and my dad on Saturday afternoon between my ages 6 and 8.. My dad worked like crazy and I never got to see him much. But on Saturdays where the weather was too messy for him to work in... that's when my sisters and I got to see a side of my dad that we would never see again. He was a stranger to me, most of my youth, but the older I get, the more I understand what little I remember of him and what he repeated to me...

There's something about a Western that brings out the most honest side of men...
