What's your favorite torch or lighter to use with the Vapcap?

those vertigo lighters at the dynavap shop are hard to come by in europe.
the cost like 20$ here. insane.
george sells them for less than half the price
That being said...i use the venom three flame(in a row) from vaposhop for my M and it has been flawless.
If ever it breaks vsposhop has my back.
Can't say that about the 10 euro eBay lighters.
@VapoShop backs their shit up.

who has experience with the zippo like "z-plus2" ?
also available at dynavap.

I like it for out and about cuz it gloms on to my Dynastash' magnet and cuz it looks like a Zippo. It's a nice lighter. At home I typically use either a lockable single flame or my Vertigo triangle three flame.

The best torches I have found yet are the Vertigo Cyclone triple torches. I bought a 3 pack off amazon for $27 about 6 months ago and have been set ever since. (still using the first one, the other two wait in my stash case for emergency)
I like these a lot too. They work well and are reliable. I recently bought a pair from Amazon. The only problem I have with them is they are kinda small and need to be refilled more often than I would like. I have another triple that is larger and I like a little better. Here is a pic of both of them side by side.

The wide bottom isn't as pocket friendly but it isn't too bad.

Nice found! Fear it's too hot for the VC even with flame in smallest size (it needs a certain size to burn). Got the Blazer GB 2001 a few days ago which has nearly the same power and it's too hot for the VC. But bought it for my Supreme v3 which is nearly a perfect pairing. Guess the shown one would be good with the Sup too if angle of the flame isn't too low. For sure the most stable standing lighter with such a power.

...for sure a much better choice and investment!
Induction heater, at least the ones from @Pipes ist the best heating source for the VC ever!

I nearly never use any lighter for my VCs anymore. Just on the go. Waiting for the PS Mini and hope it will do it's job on the go in a manner way.

BTW I'm waiting for my ordered Blazer Big Shot, Vector Ammo gunmetall and the Vector Thunderbird Zippo insert/2T. The last ones especially for my VCs

When I saw it vapcap wasn't even on my mind for a second- but this looks like a potential non handheld option for the glass Elev8r though. Just hitting it this exact second and I found myself typing this post between taking a beautifully smooth large hit without clearing the still full UFO ... and clearing it! Done that now, but you know when you take a big hit sometimes and just compltely gaze out and lose track of things for a moment?

Thinking "eh, :hmm:what time is it? Is it friday? Shit how long have I been here? How did I get here? Oh shit Im supposed to be cooking dinner..."
It happens to me anyway with such lovely sunkissed herb.
Coo, that hit was potent. Was a perfect temp for better potency IME recently, not too high. Several more before and to come. Better go now.

I have 2 lighters by Vector KGM, a single and dual torch. I bought the single a year ago, and dual about 6 months ago. They have never failed me once, the single runs out of fuel fast, but is good enough to heat a few caps. It takes more than 10 seconds to click, but the single flame is precise and easy to focus the heat where I want.

The 2 flame torch last forever, if I turn the flame up and i can heat about 90 percent of the cap with it and it clicks in about 5 seconds. I don't usually have the flame set very high as it heats in under ten seconds and the flame layout allows you to focus it fairly well. This one last forever and I can go a few days without refilling it, although I refill them if I'm going out.

I usually have them both with me and I have the single in a case with my Vapcap and some herb for the on the go, and the single is only used as backup when i'm on the go. The dual finds a place in my pocket or in my backpack. I have not been caring with these lighters, they have been beat up from drops and riding around in loose pockets with keys and all kinds of stuff as you can see from the pics. But they work, they are solid metal from what I can tell.

After looking online and seeing the billions of options out there, I decided to go to some smoke shops, there are so many around me, and i like going there anyways, they always have cool shit there. I bought some cheap lighters at first for around 5-15 dollars, they all failed on me after a month or worked intermittently. I decided to spend a bit more and found the Vector Single Flame Torch for 20 dollars, it had a nice case and packaging, but I thought who knows, it could fail, but it never did and I went back 6 months later and bought the duel flame torch for 30 dollars.

That's my 2 cents of what to get if your on the fence. Also I have not tested there warranty service, but they have a No Proof Warranty, you basically pay shipping send the lighter off and they will send it back fixed, no proof of purchase required.

Anyone have an Xikar Allume? I'm curious about anyone's experience with it.

I purchased the Xikar Allume about six months ago and it gets light use.

The sliding doors protecting the igniters would get stuck in the open position quite often which defeats their purpose. Today the Xikar Allume completely engulfed itself in big flame and burned my hand. Fortunately I was outside and dropped it on my lawn. Had it been in my home it could have started a fire.

This was not an inexpensive lighter and I am very disappointed.

Wow that's terrible! I actually love my allume. How old was yours? They did an update at some point, it changed the fuel gauge to the side.

The vertigo Tron is kinds of fun. Not sure how reliable it is yet.

I have a vertigo quad from DV, which is working well, and a Ronson jetlighter, which sparks but will not light . One of the dangers of reading these pages is catching a new acquisition syndrome. I have ordered a slender flint wheel single flame that @Squiby likes, and a vertigo Z2 twin flame from DV. It will be fun comparing the results from these different torches .

So, I picked up a Tron from the DV site, but I've really been having a heckuva time after the first refill. I must be doing something wrong because it does not seem to fill up with a tank of Colibri on its ass. The window has barely any liquid in it and it goes through maybe one or two caps before it is refill time. Like I said, I must be doing something wrong because this thing wasn't cheap and I can't imagine that it is being sold by DV with performance like this!

Any recommendations for a single head but wide flame? Or where two heads meet to one?
