Any comments on this one ?

" Note:
Contrary to the initial version of this article, which erroneously stated that THC vaporizes at 155º C, the Merck Manual lists the vaporization point of THC as 200º in vacuum. The vaporization point at normal atmospheric pressure appears to be unknown, but is thought to be in the range 250-400º

250 C is 482 F and our first hand experience says that THC boils out at a lower temp than that.

I pursued this subject of cannabinoids and their boiling point for a while in a purely amateur way. I was interested in seeing if I could fine tune my vape temps to the effects desired.

My conclusion is that the general rule of lower is more up, higher is more sedative is true but that's all it is....a very broad generalization. All of the tables I have seen on boiling point are for pure samples of the specific chemical in a vacuum. Mix different cannabinoids together, put them in a plant cellular structure, and try to boil them out at atmospheric pressure and my conclusion (which ain't worth much, truth be told) is that all of those temps just kind of get smeared into broad ranges and its difficult to conclude much else beyond that.

I do note temp of toxins (benzene and naphthalene specifically) and do think these charts are useful as broad guidance, but not more than that.

Please, I'm sure there are some real scientists out there on the board, please step up and correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not thin skinned and would rather know than just think.

Cheers
