The Arizer Solo has been in the marketplace since 2011. Most of the bugs have been worked out. Planetvape and
@Ed's TnT have many accessories to add to your vaporizing pleasure and needs. It's fun to use wood as well as a glass air path. This unit adds easily to many different water tools and has great taste and it doesn't use a lot of herb product. The Solo is a miser with the herbs. You will save $. I love mine as well as many others. the thread is quite large so read about the last 20-30 pages to get up to date.
I have both the Solo and the Ascent. I do like the Ascent too but there is a learning curve. The Solo is easy to learn right from the get go. The Ascent needs spacers because of the way the oven is made. The herb will fly around inside if not weighted down. The oven is fairly large if you chose to fill it up. I enjoy using my Ascent so if you decide on that one there is some tricks to the operation of the unit. There are many helpful FCers willing to walk you through the process.
I hear a lot of good things about the Haze, I may buy one some day.
Read through about 25 pages of each vaporizer that you are interested in.
The bottom line for me is a vaporizer that helps to produce great flavor from my herb.
The best vaporizer hasn't been invented yet, but we will keep searching. This bit of info should probably go elsewhere. I got carried away.
