What vape is the fastest to make you high?

The reason why I'm asking this question is my MFLB: I have to vape on it for at least 30 minutes to start feeling anything! (The herb, although not the best I tried, is OK, it is rather potent and works fast in joints).
Needless to say I'm not happy with it, and that's one of the reasons why I'm looking for a new vape.

Is there any difference in their efficiency? I'm looking at portable or, so to say, semi-portable vaporizers (like the Solo). Any recommendations/solutions/suggestions?

After I read the header on your post I was going to suggest the MFLB just because as a conduction vape on command it is so quick off the line. However 30 min is way to long time to wait. What vapes have you tried that have worked quicker?

It's not necessarily the vaporizer that determines the effect, but the amount being vaped and at what temp? I find the MFLB to be the champion in terms of efficiency: use the least amount of herb to get elevated. My tolerance is on the lower end. I can finely grind 0.15gm and I will get at least 3 sessions of 3xTen second draws of good, visible, vapor quality. And I get as medicated as I prefer.

If after 30 minutes of vaping with your MFLB I have to wonder - are you getting vapor? Does the little red bulb light up? Do you keep your batteries charged? Do you very finely grind your herb? Are you drawing or sipping slowly so as not to cool down the heating element too much? Do you shake up the herb to remix it after each draw?

If you have had your MFLB for some time and have fine tuned your use of the device and it's still not getting you high then maybe you just need a vaporizer that allows for larger loads and higher temps for more extraction of cannabinoid/terpene vapor per draw.

Sometimes having another vaporizer can help with tolerance issues. Also if you are able to get a variety of cannabis strains say 3 or 4 maybe that would help. I like to have a little bit of a lot of difference strains. Right now I probably have a dozen or so strains.

I would highly recommend the Solo. You get your money's worth and more. Read up in the Solo thread. I would suggest Puffitup if you live in Canada or U.S. Randy can probably cut you a deal. Let him know you are an FC member - the code is FC-1 for 15% off.

Dude is complaining about the MFLB taking to long to get him high and you suggest the solo which takes forever to the job too? lol

@Scott A thats your opinion. There's plenty of happy Solo owners. Sometimes it's personal preference. Evidently not everyone has your opinion.

Some people have been happy with the Mighty, it's really expensive for a portable but even that unit has its critics. There isn't a one size fits all.

Edit
I thought the OP wanted a portable? @herbivore21 That's what is stated in the question.

A portable can't compete with a desktop most of the time.

I agree there are plenty of happy solo owners, but it is definitely not the hardest hitting, quickest high giving vape out there. :2c:

That crown for the hardest hitter of the flower vapes sits squarely atop the head of the Sublimator (regardless of the various shortcomings of that vape in other aspects). The Sub just gets you more vaked than any other vaporizer I have ever used (and that is a lot of them now). It is the middle ground between other vapes and just saying 'fuck it' like I did and graduating to dabbing only. I found that even at my heaviest usage (up to 3/4 of a zip a week + more concentrates), the Sub would reliably still get me vaked every time I hit it with flowers. By that stage, my Solo, Crafty, Mighty, E-nano and Vapman took way too long and considerably more material to give me the same effect.

The Solo is definitely a good vape and this is not to say anything negative about it, but I would never describe it as one of the heaviest hitters. :peace:

If the OP is looking for a more or less fool proof hard hitting portable, the Mighty best fits that bill so far (but this really does not hit as hard as the sub - of course it isn't a smoulderingly hot branding iron sitting atop your rig either lol).

You can get a number of the butane vapes to hit super hard and get the goods out quickly too, but I personally won't use a vape where there is any chance of accidental combustion these days. If the OP is cool with needing to watch out not to overdo it and combust, then one of these is probably a good place to go next.

Consider making a crude dry sift with your material and hitting bowls of that in the vapman in lieu of flowers too, it will give very hard hits that are still similar to flowers but getting you where you need to be much more quickly, while reducing the chance of combustion. I used to get bigger hits on my vapman with 4 star bubble than I got in the sub!!!!! There is a reason I call that thing the 'Hashman' lol

All you need to make a crude dry sift/kief is a kief box. You can still use the remaining material after sifting in a vape too :)

Woooooow... wwwwwww... I'm new here and I didn't expect SO MUCH info in a matter of hours! I'm... impressed and I want to really thank all you guys. Sorry I can't ask more questions as I wanted to, or provide more information because I've been doing guess what. I have only one question: what does the pronoun "OP" mean?
Stay high!

Dab rig!

:D

Looks like you got some great info on flower vapes.

If you let your tolerance drop you will be able to feel the effect more quickly for sure, and save some money. Best thing you could do is stop smoking joints and let your tolerance drop naturally.

First off I didn't catch that you were still smoking joints. I reread the post. You need to stop smoking the joints to get the medicated state that you are looking for in the cannabis. Stop combusting for 2 weeks and strictly vaporize. Or better yet take a t- break then just vaporize from now on. Right now you probably have s high tolerance.

Don't combust the cannabis. It takes a couple weeks to switch over. Eventually smoking a joint will be disgusting to you. Your brain is used to the smoke.

I have a friend I gave my old MFLB to years ago. She just told me that she doesn't really get as high on it as she does on joints or bongs. Smoke and vapor aren't the same. Combustion is much harsher and I guess stronger. If you do what CarolKing suggested and stop combusting for a while the MFLB should work. If you want to try a cheap alternative to see what another vaporizer is like before spending a lot of money, I recommend the dynacap. It's about $30 and although it uses butane it's not that easy to combust. Actually I did combust and destroy my first one but that's because I didn't realize how quickly it works.
