what vape is best for me?

I am looking for a discreet portable vaporizer that can store a lot of dry herb so I don't have to reload so often. I also want it to be able to vape wax and stuff too.

I would like the temp to somehow be controlled as well. I had a dube pen vape and if you sucked to hard it just burned your stuff. It was hard to hit it light enough, I always burned it. So if this could stop the herb from burning so easy it would be great

Probably not. A discreet portable that holds a lot runs into a wall in the design dept. Hard to have it both ways. Pocket portables have to be small, and that includes bowl/heating chamber. You're better off, if you want a pocket portable, crossing off the high capacity requirement, or putting it further down your list.

I like the DaVinci. Been using one since they came out and it's inexpensive, convenient, and digital. I can load more than enough to get me lifted as well, although I can't speak for everyone in that dept.

Pax holds a fair amount but smells a lot apparently. Davinci doesn't seem like a bad idea, max loves his and it has a pretty good following.

I will look into the davinci. I have been thinking about a lotus or genie as well. Is there a less akward looking and smaller lighter based vaporizer? Maybe a chillum style one?

I am not worried about capacity so much anymore. As long as its a few hits at least

I would like the pax but Its too expensive. I just don't want to reload after each hit. Too much trouble. A few servings worth would be ideal. When I smoke I just do one or two hits.

Also, I have to hide it at home.

If you only take a couple hits at a time, you should change thefocus of your search. The 2 you have mentioned are both session style meaning they heat up, stay hot and will continue to cook your load while they cool down. you should be looking at heat on demand models such as the MFLB, FV, cera or firefly. Also any flame powered unit such as the lotus, VG or vapman would fit the bill as well.

Tell us what where you're gonna vape, if you'll be alone or with friends, whether you are gonna hit it in public and a couple of possible scenarios maybe… Would you like the best taste possible as well or you can sacrifice taste for more stealth? Speak up man!

I wont really be using this with my friends.

I won't be in public either. It doesn't have to be completely odor free.

I need it to be small since I have to hide it in my home.

The best taste is not that big of a concern.

I don't want it to burn when I accidentally inhale too hard.

A heat on demand style or lighter based is ideal.

Yup. They said they'd quit helpin me pay for school if I was smokin again. But I work 2nd shift now so I never see them. I have a good spot to hide everything but its a small spot.

Get a FF if you have the cash or a Lotus if not… They will also save you a ton of weed compared to a conduction based vape like the PAX or Indica or Ascent. Less is more with convection vapes. NF over and out!

Currently I have a Persei but my errl connect is inconsistent. I need something for herbs on the go. My work consists of me driving a lot and I just need something that can provide a couple hits here and there through out the day. Its not for sharing or long sessions. Primarily I would use it in the car but if it's small enough to carry, that would be a nice plus.

What's my best option ??

Firefly for sure! You can even use "ELBs" these days! You might need a car charger...
