Hi guys, I am a new guy here -
though I smoke pot since 1982and yes I am an 58 years old fart -
On the other hand, I was like 14/15 when I started smoking in Paris, where I lived at the time.
Things were so different, but I first started with some ganja from Congo and all my cannabinoid receptors were screaming for more though I was lying on a carpet looking at the funny things on the ceiling and telling myself, this is what I want to do along the rest of my life and so here we are 40 years later.
My friends call me Sancho. I am from Zagreb, the Capital of Croatia, and I am a freelance translator -English-French-Croatian-Montenegrin and I give also Spanish lessons.
It is a pleasure and a privilege to meet ya all. —
Back to the original question, what press for 500 quid?
If you are pressing buds, 1, 2 or even 3 tons will yield only partially and the yield nor the quality can match a 10 tons press.
Because I would like to show you the answer to your question.
So, most of us if we do not grow we get buds and buds are notoriously hard to extract as they should be and only from 6 tons you can have a reasonable yield a good one and an untainted product like honey.
When you put it against the light it is spotless-just put good stuff in it if possible -I love sativa so the rosin had a very energizing effect-uplifting -creative.....I will continue on the rosin way for sure.
I suggest you buy for exactly 500 quid the :
Graveda Graspresso Rosin Press Hydraulic 12×6 cm, 10 Tons
- With 12 x 6 cm plate size
- With 10 ton hydraulic cylinder and touch panel
- Allows solvent-free extraction
- Wide temperature range from 0° — 232°
- For making live rosin, shatter, etc.-So live rosin as well.
These 6 tons are no joke and Graveda is mesmerizing-there is a same model half the strength at 383 Eur instead of 526 EUR for this stronger model which equals 500 quids.
Dual heat control-the heating element is not U shaped, but II shaped so no warm hot or cold spots, just the rosin flowing in your cup my friend.
- A friend of mine just received the press he ordered- I brought my Mango smelling Sativa pale green with long slim buds which leaves Sour diesel being a diesel while this one is jet fuel sativa, It does not make you hungry, so I suspect a Durban poison genetics, but the rosin of this was easy to made and that was one my best stones ever….
I intend to press all the interesting strains including a 50% indica and 50% sativa or anywhere in between that is the beauty and the machine works, like a charm.
- High-performance rosin press with 10 tons of pressure - for best results when extracting without solvents
With 12 x 6 cm plate size
With 10 ton hydraulic cylinder and touch panel
Allows solvent-free extraction
Wide temperature range from 0° - 232°
For making live rosin, shatter, etc.
Graspresso GP6-10: An affordable hydraulic press in a robust design. From now on, you will have no shortage of dabbing extracts! Graveda takes great care to ensure that the various presses always have a very good price-performance ratio despite the high quality of workmanship and excellent performance values, so that you can work like a professional for little money.
10 tons of pressure and printing plates that can be heated up to 232° with a surface area of 10 x 7.5 cm
You can select a pressure of up to ten tonnes for the hydraulic Graspresso Rosin Press GP6-10 via the lever and choose a temperature between 0 and 232° for the pressure plates. The most important factor for good results when pressing extracts is, of course, the source material. However, by fine-tuning the individual parameters such as temperature and pressure, you can customise your extract production and improve the results. The temperature and heating time are controlled via a touch panel, which you can also operate easily with silicone gloves. This practical press also allows direct pressing with the BottleTech PrePress, which is available as an accessory.
Solvent-free pressing produces extracts of above-average quality
Thanks to the powerful hydraulics, the Graspresso GP6-10 delivers ten tonnes of pressing pressure, allowing you to extract the valuable resins from the herbs of your harvest very effectively. For pure flower extraction, the use of extraction paper is usually sufficient (especially if you use a PrePress for this), for leaves and stems you should use Press Bags. Whether Shatter, Live Rosin or Budder - you can produce unadulterated and highly aromatic extracts for dabbing with the GP6-10. Since no solvents are used here, there is no risk of explosions, fire, bad taste effects or harmful residues.
Robust technology - durable and reliable
This Rosin press is based on the technology of hydraulic-manual jacks. Proven a million times over and extremely reliable. The solid construction and the robust design of the individual components guarantee many years of trouble-free operation.

BUT THE PRICE DIFFERENCE IS OF THE TWO GRAVEDA MODELS IS AROUND 120 EUR BETWEEN 3 TONS CAPABLE AND 10 TONS CAPABLE MACHINE SO I ORDERED 10 TONS I HAVE SEEN IT AT WORK I TRIED THE PRODUCT AND THREE TONS IS FOR HASH AND FLOWERS AND LOWER YIELD AND QUALITY-THE TEN TONS IS BETTER IT IS A MUST HAVE FOR PRESSING BUDS-BUT WITH TEN TONS YOU CAN APPROACH THE 20%YIELD OR AT LEAST APPROACH IT
