What portables give you cool vapors?

I have a growing pile of vaporizers, plus a E pen.that burns wax, and tastes like tar. It's time for a change!! Ideally, I'd like a portable unit that does both herb and concentrates. I see that the Haze is the only one on the market? Otherwise, I'll suffer the E pen and get a herb vape.

My number one gripe for all my vapirizers is heat!!! Before I started using MJ, I had two cavities. Now Ice never smoked a day in my life and have 21 cavities and.receding front gums from 12 years of vaporizing. It actually gurts my teeth now! They are also stained like a smokers.teeth. It's disgusting, but I need it medicinally. So at least, I need a cooler vape!

What would you guys suggest? I tried a friend's X-Vape Vital and really liked it. The Haze looks great with oil, but I need to be able to put it on my pocket. Can you mix the wax or oil with bud or a volcano pad?

Here's all the friggin vaporizers I have and what I don't like:

PAX: Heat, the number one cause of my fillings in the past several years. Cleaning, have fun if the mouthpiece sticks! It's currently my portable vape.

Arizer SOLO: Too large to carry, short battery life, unit overheats with constant use, the battery pack falls out of the unit while using and doesn't charge, the mouthpieces both broke, and the vapor was too hot. I'm suffering with it right now, having to shove the cable into it, wrap it in a cloth, and hold it like this while I use a launch box whip rigged to a hose to bring down the heat. I can buy a new vape cheaper than replacing the battery pack that never stayed in when I got it. It won't charge unless I hold it. I'm.hoping my new until replaces both of these.

Vapor Genie: Oh god, that butane and draw time! I used it for a year, had two. It was always too hot and burnt.

Launch Box: The batteries didn't last long and the plug in vaporizer often overheated. It was difficult to use a bowl up fast enough to get a good buzz. The values were cool enough with a hose.

IoLite So so so very hot, I traded it for seeds.

Myrtlrzap: not portable, did not work

Happy Vappy: My favorite Vape so far in flavor and temp. However, I had it hurt rigged with a Launch Box whip and glass end. The glass broke and what I thought was silicon holding the two melted, and tastes so. Not portable

Volcano: The bags are portable, not in the sense I mean.by.portable lol... The vape is cool. But, after 5 min the vape in the bag changes and becomes a peppery burning vape that irritates your mouth. That's what myself and friends experience. The bags are noisy as hell.

I'm so very tired of blowing money in vaporizers. I hope you guys can help steer me towards one that's won't cook my mouth anymore. I know the X vape vital was the coolest vape I've ever tried, but it didn't have very good reviews. I've found no info on the Haze vape temp.

Thanx

Herb gardener...
I'm a little confused as to how vaping is leading to your teeth corroding, to the point of needing fillings... is this a known thing...???

I have found my mouth health has improved massively since trading smoking for vaping...

So much so that I just treated myself to teeth whitening.... to undo the 17 years of smoking stains...

Does vaping stain the teeth as bad, If at all???

I am also confused as to what you mean by the solo battery pack falling out????
And I think my solo has a rather good battery life....compared to some....
There is always the larger capacity battery upgrade...

If never really found my solo to be too hot... But I'm a level 4 guy.... maybe a small water tool would help you....

imho this is a dental issue, not vapor related. i think you have an underlying issue causing dental problems, vaping may not help but i dont think any amount of vaporizing can cause such rapid mass degradation. definitely take this up with your dentist and seek true professional (not internet) advice before you have no more teeth to work on.

Maybe look at upgrading the batteries in your launch box?

Anyway, I have a Haze and if cool vapour and easy cleaning is what you're after then I wouldn't recommend it. The only thing is has going for it from your list is that it vapes both herbs and concentrates, other than that it needs cleaning often, produces a warmer than you want vapour whilst the flavour, even though good isn't up their as it heats at high temperatures and cooks very quick too.

You said you can go without the dual functionality so perhaps the Milaana or Arizer Air? The former is raved about so check out the thread in the portables section whilst I would recommend the latter, it is portable, easy to clean and has very cool vapour, I don't touch my Haze or Launch box and only use the Air now.

If you can manage the size of the Mighty, it probably has the coolest vapor out there. It has a very effective CU (cooling unit) that is in the top piece- winds the vapor around internally to cool it. Pricey unit but well built.
It's little brother, the Crafty, also has a CU ( albeit smaller). For those that are big users, the Crafty is not as good a choice. It is also not as reliable/ long lasting as the Mighty. Its cooling unit is also smaller so not quite as effective

I second the Vapcap. It does not have any of the issues you are experiencing with other vapes.

The Vapcap is very easy to clean. You just pop your tip and condenser into the doob tube that it comes with, add solution, shake and soak. Rinse and dry. Easy peasy. It also takes a long time to get dirty. I vape all day long and I clean mine maybe every three months. Cleaning a Vapcap only takes a few minutes.

The Vapcap is tiny. Can be concealed easily in your fist or pocket. It is the size and shape of a cigarette, 3.5 - 4.25 by inches long depending on the build you choose.

Vapcaps range from $35 for an all glass model to the more durable Ti Woody models around $100, to the indestructible titanium Omnivap - $160. These have a modular build so you can switch things up to suit your mood.

This device is an example of simple, genius engineering. Other than the inexpensive glass model there are no parts really that can fail. This is a lifetime vape. It provides cool smooth vapor. There is a temperature indicating click that lets you know it is heated and a cooling click that tells you you can heat for another cycle. It falls into the category of a butane vape, but it is much much more than that. You can heat it with any external heat source from candles and lighters to stove elements or even a solar heater or stick from a campfire. If you respect the click, you will NEVER combust. It does not overheat. Only the heated tip gets hot. The rest of the VC remains room temps.

The Vapcap vaporized flowers, hash, life, crumble, wax and oil beautifully. It is also very very efficient with your weed. You will consume far less for the same effect.

There are no plastic parts, no off gassing, no batteries to organize, charge replace or keep track of. No cables to plug in or loose. No bits to break. No electronic to fail.

The Vapcap is now my one and only daily driver. I have a few other excellent vapes but I only use the Vapcap now.

The Vapcap is made in the USA and George @VapCap offers the best customer service I have ever experienced.

Check out the Dynavap thread. There are lots of happy people there.

The solo isn't a pocket vape for sure but has pretty much the best battery life of any vape I've used and have no idea of how it could ever overheat in use.

How can the Battery pack Fall Out? It's pretty much a pain in the ass to change and takes tools along with disassembly of the Solo just to remove the battery pack so... it falling out makes it sound like your not actually using a solo. Also I can't figure out what you mean by all the "shove the Cable into it" or why you would "wrap it in a cloth" or how you'd even rig a mflb whip to a 'hose'.

Are you sure you have an Arizer Solo? 'cause none of this makes sense to me.

If you really liked the 'Happy Vappy' you should look at the Herbalaire of which the Happy Vappy was just a poor copy, still it ain't portable either.

So I love my VapCaps very much. But I don't think that it is the universal vape for every inquiry. For example, I definitely do NOT think VapCap used natively provides cool vapor...at all. I don't know what the click temp on VapCaps are, but its at least 385 based on vapor production (and probably higher) and the chamber is 3" straight shot to your mouth and lungs. Now, through a water pipe, its much different and I do use my VapCaps natively most often. But I wouldn't put it out there for cool and soft vapor necessarily.

I personally also agree that the OP's dental problems and his vaping are highly likely to not be related....or at least that vaping isn't a leading cause of dental cavities and gum disease.

BUT, looking at your list of vapes and gripes above....while I also might suggest the Mighty but it is a bit expensive and would offer the CFX to you as an alternative, well priced, portable with pretty cool vapor and good function.

Now, not portable but if you really think hot vapor is causing you dental/health issues, then maybe you should vape through water and forget the portable run-around-vaping mode.

Many vapes & accessories. Always happy to help
Clearly: the Elevape smart (ESV/ESV 2.0). Coolest hits I've ever experienced dry. No matter how high you crank the temp. That aluminum block and intelligent vapor path cools it all. Coolest and wonderfully tasty.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far. I'll look them up! It's a shame about the Haze. My only thought there was can a silicon hose be added?

The Solo, my bad choice of words. It's the power pack cable that falls out. The only way I can charge it is to physically push the cable in and hold it there. It will only charge to 6 then drops to two after one session. It's so bad, I stopped using it until all my other vapes failed or became too annoying. It didn't seem worth buying a new mouthpiece. Another issue is getting the bowks used up fast enough to get the job done.

My teeth, I've never smoked a cig or weed. I first notice sore teeth and burning gums with the Iolite. I sold it and used the other listed vapes until I bought the PAX and my teeth and gum pain went away. Since buying the PAX, all hell broke loose with burning eyes too, and my teeth hurting so much I melt going to the dentist to see what's up. They always ask if I smoke, and now my once white teeth are stained in the top where the vapors hit the most. When I stopped using my PAX, the pain again let up. My Launch Box with no tube did the same. My teeth only hurt when I vape and I never had cavities for 40 years but 2 as a kid. The receding gums from the bear is bad too. I vape a lot, 6 hours a day one load after anther.

It would be nice having only one vaporizer, the right one! I'm tired of sacrificing quality for portability too.

I would lower my consumption if I was you... 6 hours of straight vaping? How many grams??? That's a lot of heat and resin hitting your teeth and gums... I don't think that's odd...

I think you may well have an underlying dental condition that vapor is exacerbating rather than causing.

Have you tried anything to improve your dental health like Vit C supplements, oil pulling, rinsing with salt water and/or bicarbonate or using a Water Pic? These approaches can typically turn around inflamed sore gums in a mater of a few weeks.

How much weed do you go through a day?

The mighty can give fairly cool vapour on the go but it tends to be dry.

I think you should be using water pieces to cool and hydrate your vapour.

The FF2 meets your requirements, and has two batteries as well, which can manage a long day. Both batteries tend to last me about 6 hours, but I'm not constantly ripping.

Both Crafty and FF gave me teeth pain and were harsh on the throat with prolonged use...
I don't think there is vape out there that won't do that with such prolonged usage! The key here is moderation I think, as with everything in life.

If I spend money on a vaporizer if it ends up being too hot I adapt my vaporizer to fit my needs such as a longer air path or water. I like a whip set up too. What about a j hook? Its very versatile as long as you have GonGs to fit your units. A good j hook is worth its weight in gold.

I like a good log vape.

This is where I get stumped. I can't get enough weed in me to sleep! I start my solo up at 8 and puff until I fall asleep at 3 or 4, first hitting so I am able to eat without puking, then switching to more sedative stuff after dinner to help me sleep. But, I don't go through a lot of weed. I start my solo a trip on 4 or 5, then 5, then one or two on 6, dump, repeat. Maybe 5 hits on each temp. I have so much weed here, I can't even give it away since I know no other weed users. I end up donating or composting it if I don't hear my donation is going to the disabled vets as I requested.
Noon sativa oil or bud or nothing, if I need to eat
All day 70% CBD/ 5% thc.oil
Evening hybrid to eat
Pm induce to sleep

It's puff away or get hospitalized and the VA shoves a feeding tube in me. I wish I got high still, but that takes hitting 4 Volcano bags in a row to accomplish. I'm experimenting with capsules to give my poor teeth a break, but they only work for sleep and need refrigerated. :(

Now that you know my heavy use, you can see why cool vapors are crucial. My front teeth were once perfect, now yellowed with hideous receding gums and fillings, thank.you PAX. That sucker makes my teeth ache!! However, since moving back to the Solo with whip and volcano, it's not heat alone that is hurting my teeth. The resin itself seems to be building up on my teeth, just like in your vaporizer. This bothers me... My gums burn like pepper burn. Is the resin in my lungs collecting too?

I looked up the VapCap... It sounds like a neat invention and I live the wood, but open flames in bed (I'm mostly bedridden) and discretely out in public don't fly. I'd have loved to have one of these over my vapor genie!

The Milaana is also quite beautiful! But can that battery life hold up to my all day use?

The Arizer Air seems interesting. How big is it? It seems like a mini solo, with an inadequate length glass stem. Are.the vapors cool? Mine in my solo with a 13" whip is a tad warm, but doable. How does it compare?

The Mighty sounds sweet!!! Except it's as big or bigger than the Solo? Otherwise, that's a nice vape. I take it the smaller Crafty is too hot... :(

I guess for waxes and oils, I can just wrap them in bud or cotton wads then vape. That makes finding a vape easier, I hope. Do you guys have any more ideas? The only other vaporizer I've tried and liked was my friends's X-Vape Vital. That sucker has a little thinner vapor because a lot of air vents around the mouthpiece cool the draw, even with the short mouthpiece. But, there are few reviews. The one here isn't great. So I'd like to keep looking! The portability of the PAX is hard to hold up to, but I'm selling it when I find something else.

How in the tar do I post a photo?

Mighty is huge!!! :p CU gets hot after a few draws and vapor harsher. I had teeth pain with Crafty myself.

Air is like the Solo. Prolonged sessions like with the Solo hurt my teeth in the past! That's the reason I initially sold my Solo....

The Milaana is also quite beautiful! But can that battery life hold up to my all day use?

Milaana's vapor ain't cool. It hits teeth hard. Needs moderation.

Vapcap would be my suggestion. The flame is only on when you heat it for a few secs. When you move the finger flame goes away, what's dangerous about it? I vape in bed a lot!
For outdoors and stealthiness there might be a few options soon... ;)

You're convincing me on the VapCap farmer. Is there one of these models you'd recommend? It's a tad overwhelming. $30 and up. Do you need top relight for every hit?
