Does cannabis vapor affect lung function in any way? Bronchial tubes? Cilia function restriction?
I've found this study from 2013 (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23802821) referring to cannabis use and lung function in the form of smoking which claims there is little evidence showing a decrease in lung function yet basic biology would suggest that any smoke, tar, and carcinogens would be harmful to the lungs as accommodating this is not a design of the lungs.
Since we're here on FC and we want to tell combustion to fuck off for the benefit of our health, is there any study that shows positive or negative effects of vaporized cannabis on the lungs? I'm specifically looking for information on the cilia (our lungs natural "janitors") but any information would be more than welcome.
