what else is the equivalent of vaping, in another "discipline"???

I'm just curious as to what else is like vaping, in another domain.
I do two such things which are much like vaping, with precise temp control:

1. Sous vide cooking. Example: cooking a ribeye at 128.5 F for a perfect medium rare doneness and then searing. So, precise temp control for a very specific result

2. Tea. Make my Kenyan green tea at 195 F and Kenyan black tea at 205 F.

What else is the "equivalent" of vaping???
