'Sup FCers. I just finished grad school and I'm gonna take a few months off to travel the country before I have to go back to the "real world" and be a square. I'm going to be travelling all over California, then most of the major metropolitan areas in the country, funds allowing. I have a thing for new glass, and I want to hit the biggest, most diverse, and best selling shops in the country. What are your recommendations for the best shops in your region? Thanks bros!

The biggest selection I've seen in person is at AquaLab Technologies in Corona, CA. They sell mostly online, but they do have lots of high end glass for sale in their storefront.

There is also a few other really big stores in the LA area that I don't know the names of. If you wanted to hit all the nice shops in that area, you'd have to stay for at least few days because of how spread out they are.
My favorite place to shop for glass was Telegraph Ave. in Berkeley, CA... there is A TON of shops all on one strip so close that you can just walk the strip and hit them all in one day. Some are big and some very small. They are all competing with each-other for your business so that makes for some decent prices.
I've herd many good stories of people finding great shops in the smaller coastal towns, that would be just one of many reasons to drive up or down the beautiful California coast.
If I was doing this, I would also search for any shops that are owned by glass blowers... for the chance to see glass that isn't available anywhere else and for great prices.
This sounds like a lot of fun, please take pictures if you can and report back after your trip.

I was just in Boulder, CO and walked in to the best glass shop that I ever saw, they had collections from over 300 artists, it was a large store, and it was full of inventory. I believe the name was Illusions or something like that, it was right next door to the Aloy Thai restaurant.

I've never been to the one in CO but any local glass I snag is from Illuzions.
Always the best pieces and vapes, they used to have W9Tech products back in 2011 and 2012. Along with their own heat gun and water pipe like vriptech. Definitely not as large of store and they have been moving pretty often, this most recent venue has been the smallest. But unlike all the other headshops I've been to they have been solid with their vape choices (and glass). Since the first time I have been there they've carried 7th Floor, Magic-Flight, and Healthstone products; with no extra chinese or poorly working vapes. No acrylic, minimal wraps options; nothing novelty.
TL;DR If you're ever passing a very boring state, I suggest the other
