So I decided to start a weekly post on what I am working on in the Vapor Lab when I'm gettin CLOUDY. Hope y'all enjoy!

Getting the FUCK down to some funky Walter Washington and the Roadmasters working on this greyscale 18x20 piece tonight. I hope everyone's making it through the week alright!

I am always looking for good music to create to so if you have a suggestion throw it out there or post up that link.

Thanks Deja, yeah I actually do think of my stuff as abstract surreal dream-scapes! Nice eye. Places you've…. been…. at some point... waking, or asleep, lucid or not. I think of it as painting past the cobwebs.

Music + the good Medicine help with assimilating it all into a cohesive vision. To be honest, music is what drives all of my work. In the studio I always have headphones in bumpin so pound my fiancé has to come and grab my arm to get my attention hah. I travel to music festivals a couple times a year and paint live all weekend alongside 4 or 5 other painters, and we setup next to the stage, and just mob HARD. We usually will build a gallery for anyone to walk through, all with original, visionary, and abstract-surreal work just as an installation. The people love it, and we usually can make some $, but I just go to create. I never was a hustler. If you like my work, come say what up, Im not gonna walk through campsites anymore at my age hah.

I am planning on painting a vapor inspired piece and wanna see if yall can snap some sick shots of vapor swirling around, or floating in the sun in your living room, or billowing out of your face hah.

I will create another thread for these photos, but until I speak with a mod I wont take it any further.

Though the style is different, the content (cosmic dreamer) reminds me of both Lovecraft and Jack Kirby's 'cosmic' work. The face could even be the Surfer.
