Weed and Munchies.

lol, I'm the exact opposite, I don't want to eat much but I do get munchies for very specific things

Actually, I just realized something, it doesn't matter WHAT I am eating, it is HOW MUCH I am eating. When blazed, I will eat OBSCENE portions, of ANYTHING

that happens to me sometimes, but not normally and yes its pretty obscene...usually i want something (could be 2-3 things) very specific and nothing else satisfies. like peanut m&ms, chicken in a bisket crackers and pizza pretzel combos. not the entire bag of each, but enough to constitute something greater than a simple snack.

honestly, its very similar to a mental high where the trip has you think of certain things and focus on it, if you try to direct it elsewhere you either get chaotic flashes (hard to focus) and/or revert back to where the high took you...its like a hunger high.

and ive been experimenting. thus far the only thing ive noticed that helps is if i manage to keep myself outside from the onset of the high (just after 5 mins of vaping) up until about 2-3 hours. im still hungry and will eat but i tend to be less focused on food thats not that good for me, after about 2.5 hours or so i can satisfy myself on celery and carrots like i would if im not high. to help keep myself outside i setup an area to lay down or sit with some water, tunes, etc...try not to have reason to go in. weather permitting of course.

update...so i tried the "get vaped a bit before a meal" trick, 3 times, each success. i would hit it about an hour or so before a meal was coming up and when i ate it was quite enjoyable. i still had a slight munchie hunger after the meal but it was no where as noticeable as usual so therefore easier to manage (like ignore).

unfortunately my typical vape hours are a couple hours past dinner (logistics) so not sure i can repeat it often but nice to know i can fool the extreme munchie desire if able to. ymmv.

This is a great idea@! I have tried it before, and found great success, BUT, I am the same in the fact that I normally vape hours after I would normally have dinner, so it makes it difficult to have a late "snack" that wont kill my stomach. I am getting a bit better since I am trying to be careful with what I am spending my money on, so I am not making 7-11 runs or anything.

Either eat less or try to eat healthier/better food like yogurt, fresh fruit/vegetables, cashews/almonds, and drink some green/black tea and water.

Or just get so couch-locked or glued to the chair that even if you do get hungry you won't want to move.

7-11...lol. honestly, its nice to know im not the only one with a stoned stomach. its really like that sometimes, my tummy gets silly sometimes.

haha, yeah, man :D. i have super food discipline and "fool proof" eating plan BEFORE i vape. after i vape, my discipline and plan disappears like the vapor i blow out! good suggestions for all the healthy food and fruits/vege, yeah, that's a good idea. i used to not like salad but after a vape, it is so delicious! i think the continued gorging on potato chips&snacks/kfc/instant noodles/biscuits/chocolates/ice-cream may not be so good for my body, and counter productive to the use of a vape and the herb.

6 months ago I got a high end blender (VitaMix) to make amazing sorbets. I use only real fruit (some fresh. some frozen) and ice. No sugar or anything else. The high fiber is really filling, and so much healthier than the ice cream and ices I was buying- though you can make ice cream as well.

The Vita is really expensive, but on the cheap end I think the Ninja might be good.
