Hello Everyone,


I would like to introduce you to a Vaporizer concept that will be in production in the near future. Welcoming the VX by Vablur. The VX is a product that will revolutionize the industry of portable vaporizers. Every part of the design has been put together with the user in mind. The exterior of the VX is cased in Medical Grade Stainless Steel with a thermal wrap underneath, which prevents the unit from heating up. The black gloss strip through the center is a durable glass that provides the user with a touch sensitive LED temperature control. With the slide of a finger the temperature can be adjusted to suite your individual vaping needs. The VX will fit comfortable in the palm of your hands and features a seamless mouthpiece that allows for it to be on of the most portable vaporizer on the market. The top of the units swivel mouthpiece will expose the removable herbal chamber where you will be able to use multiple attachments to vape herbs, Oils, and Concentrates.

At this time the VX is an ongoing project and is in the beginning stages of development, please feel free to express your opinion and all suggestions will be put to consideration. The unit has not been priced yet due to a prototype needing to be made first but expect anywhere from $150-$250. I will try to answer most questions but remember nothing has been finalized and components can change anytime. Information provided will be limited to the exterior of the unit due to adjustments still being made on the interior. Our website is in progress and is currently down for maintenance. Well my vote is for glass, at least for the removable herb chamber. If you haven't already got one, get a Firewood 2.0 for an example of a removable glass chamber done right. You can't beat the taste of vaping with a glass bowl.

Also, I see you're just beginning development. Approximately how long before you bring this to market? A few months or more than a year?

Hi there VX, really interested to see your product develop. I have a couple of questions though;

• What kind of battery technology will you be using? Will the battery be user replaceable?
• Will the vaporizer be based primarily on convection or conduction?
• What is the estimated development timeframe?
• How much experience does your team have creating portable devices like this?

Glass is definitely what we are striving to use in our removable bowl and oil component. The pending material just has to do with the airways built into the mouthpiece. The VX is currently being rapid prototyped so a full working model is expected towards the beginning of summer and hopefully a production model will be around September.

The engineers at Vablur have been working hard, and we present you with a new updated design. In this version temperature is controlled by the touch sensitive circle within the Vablur logo. This will make it easier, faster, and more energy efficient in selecting your desired temperature. Exciting things are also happening on the inside. A glass bowl has been confirmed as well as a glass diffuser/air filter built into the magnetic lid. The unit still will incorporate convection heating. In the second version everything has been well thought out. First on the side of the VX there is a small on/off switch which will activate the temperature LED screen. At this point you can use the dial incorporated into the logo to set your desired temperature. This touch dial is only sensitive to skin which prevents random change of temperature do to rubbing against material. Next you hit the stainless steel button on the front and that starts the instant heating process. The button will glow white indicating the unit is heating. Once the set temperature had been reached the button turns green. After vaporizing is complete simply tap the heating button. The unit also features a 20 minute auto shut off.

A simple lock switch could be implemented like all the iPods and iPhones of this world.

I would also recommend a cleaner and simpler look/graphics...
