Volcano smells like burned rubber

hi,

i have bought a new volcano classic (latest revision) and startet a test yesterday.
the heated air was smelling like burned rubber and after a testballon it burned a little on my tongue.
i think this isnt normal, what do you think ?

i have started to heat up the unit for 30 minutes and started the pump every 5 minutes, but the smells is always discoverable, even if the unit is cold. Maybe the black ring is the initiator ?

I don't own a cano but it is the first time i read of someone complaining for this issue.
Try to let it on for long time (one day) with the fan, then if you still smell some strange odour stop use it and start to ask for a working unit.
This vape cost as a roll royce so you have the right to have a new unit or a refound.
I hope this can help!

Rather than trying to burn whatever out of the unit, I'd just have it replaced. It has a very good warranty.
