So I really love my Dabox, which led me to buy the Incendio from Vivant and the water filter for the Dabox. So yeah I pretty much bought all in on the products they sell. I ran into the Dabox at an e-cig shop while shopping for e-juice and as I was walking out I noticed the dabox and bought it on the spot after the guy let me examine it. This was back in the Summer of '17.
I use my Dabox and Incendio daily and love them to death, but I have an issue with my Dabox build quality. About a month ago I noticed the label that is on the bottom of the device swing door that holds the coil had started to bubble up on the edges and I could feel something underneath that was hard. I didn't want to mess with it so I just left it alone. As time went on the object underneath made its way to the edge and I pulled it out. It turned out to be a tiny black screw. This in turn left a bubble on the label the tended to scrape across your hand as you passed it to anyone who smoked with you. It was really annoying but I dealt with it. Then yet another screw made it's way out, so at this point the label was shot so I pulled it off and there were 2 out of the 3 screws that were left stuck to the label.
At this point I didn't care about the label as long as the base plate was secure so I grabbed one of my tiny screwdriver sets to screw them back in and found that the reason the screws were falling out is because the holes they go in are stripped. I also gave the only screw that was still in there a quick turn to loosen it then a slow turn to see if it would stop and it didn't because that hole is also stripped.
So at this point my favorite portable wax vape is hanging on by one stripped screw as it's the only one that would actually stay in when sitting on it's base.
I dont think it's going to last much longer, Did anyone else have this problem? It looks like there was an untrained assembler in the plant or they just didn't care. You would think that they would QC that before putting the label on the base.
Oh, I totally forgot about the one other tiny thing that bothers me. According to the marketing materials The LED should cycle to Blue mid way through the battery life. Mine only seems to have a Green then Red LED, so yeah sometimes I'm caught off guard with the battery life.
Is there anything I can do to get this resolved with Vivant?
