The heater is made of sand or mineral-filled ceramic and it's hollow?
Are the sand/minerals in the hollow part or encased inside the ceramic walls or...?

the ceramic heater is hard honeycomb.the powder is encased inside the heater possibly for insulation.

when I took a sander to the tip of the heater to remove the chip,a little hole appeared.i realised then the heater is honeycombed so be careful if You decide to rework the versa heater.

i was looking carefully for resistance wire during sanding.I didn't expect to see powder leaking out though.
i will probably try it as is and pop it back in....would be nice to keep it Authentic and similar to everyone else's.i was hoping someone might have a spare heater knocking around,or one from a broken versa.

Oh, because it is wedged in the joint? That stinks. Damn custom parts!

Well I am sure a cartridge that is larger than the original heater could be plopped in there as a plan 'b' to finding the original part.

Heaters are easy to wire, there is no wrong wire to hook up.

the hole in the heater is there for extra airflow.part of the original versa design.

Here's a closeup of the end of the heater .your looking at the heater part that sits runder the screen in the 18mm gong. Miss a few mm from sanding.

You can see where the mineral sand came from.that lower right hand hole at 5 0 clock.also the resistance wire can be seen bridging two sections of the heater.

So I've had my versa for a couple weeks and i have to say I love this thing.
It hits like a tank, went ahead and picked up a vaportower bowl and a L gourd.
Im running at about 60~63v.
My prefered method is an ud basket screen pushed down in stem of versa bowl. Pack single hits or party mode. Lol
The voportower bowl & whip kick ass it's my first whip vape so its nice to sit back and sip with just a whip.

Not real happy the way my mint condition versa showed up with a cracked concentrate bowl and a damaged heater but it has lived up to its reputation and very happy with it. With that said i to am also looking for a heater.
Mines not as bad as @u bwade wunner.

Then @Madcap79 pm'ed me to hook me up with a mint concentrate bowl for free thanks bro fc never lets you down top notch guy.

I still use my infinity quite often. Confession time, the infinity's massive heater is great for re-vaping old abv at bedtime. The taste isn't that great, but the bowl is huge and it will extract anything that's left

Update the Versa has taken top spot for flowers, not so much with shatter but still testing.
The wife even liked it, till it wrecked her.
Even the whip put her under she says its something about that vape. Lol

When I have my Versa running, I leave it on all day. Usually turn it off at night. It's a power vape and hits you hard for sure. I need to test lower temp vaping with it because if I use it during the day, I'll be napping. Haha. Glad you're enjoying it!

Im getting huge clouds just to wasteful with meds.
Stock~ oil runs down glass
Added a sr71 coil gr2 titanium works better still not on par with the nail.
For flower this thing is a beast it has taken over in the house. Still got a log next to the recliner & the bed.
But next to the enail sits the Versa.
My new fav setting is 57 I flip controller upside down and it says LSD. LOL
It was my code back in the beeper day. So you new it was me lol

Normally I keep on 57 v so it reads LSD
It was set at 77 for that particular set up.
The box is flipped upside down.

Just shows my maturity level at almost 50.

So over the years my versa infinity has become a few volts less efficient. I was running at 65/65 volts at first, now I'm at 69/70 volts. I know this sounds like a 5 volts difference but I believe I'm running it darker than I was before so it's probably a ~3.5 volt difference. Or maybe it's the strain, whatever. Hopefully it will settle down at some point, like now would be good. Other than that, she's been running like a champ and continues to be my daily driver. Has anybody else seen a drop in performance with their versa infinity?

I haven't, there are still times I'll lower it to 45 to 50 to have longer tastier sessions.
