All this freaky shit makes me lose my appetite, its time for some G rated stuff
Holy crap, I posted in the wrong thread....sorry if I screwed with some people's minds, totally not
my intentions.
although, guinea pigs eating grapes IS something you can post in ANY thread
btw, mods, sorry for the double post, this was damage control, it's too soon for people to know
how crazy I really am.
awaiting here 2..nice improv kindbeats..
I have a few simple things that I pretty much have to have to buy another portable.
1. it must stand up on it's own.
2. It must either have internal water filtration, or compatibility with a water tube.
3. It must have a clean, glass vapor path. No off-gassing and such.
4. it must be comfortably pocket size.
5. It's gotta be efficient with my herb.
If this new device fits within those simple parameters, I could get excited about this!
Since it has it's own internal water filtration, I'm sure you have it designed so it stands in a way that it won't leak. I was more concerned with being able to stand it if I had a water tube inserted so it wouldn't leak. With whatever your design is, I can imagine you'll solve any potential leaking issues.
For me, pocket size means around the size of a modern cell phone, not much larger than what Davinci has designed with the Ascent. Of course, with a water filtration design built in, I'm sure some allowances must be made, but hopefully it's still small enough to be able to take skiing or biking or whatever. I'm super excited about your internal water filtration idea...that's truly next-level design right there!
As for efficiency, I personally only use dry herb, so I just want to be able to get as medicated as possible with as little herb as possible. I consider the Arizer Solo the current Gold Standard in this regard.
Good luck with your design, I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Any idea what size bowl you are shooting for? This thing sounds pretty sweet i just hope it doesnt have a massive bowl like the ascent/pax that needs to be full to work properly.
Let's make it extra hard, what about interchangeable bowls? a 1-1.5 and a 3+ because either way there will be people dissapointed with a small bowl or with a big bowl. Or go with a bigger bowl but provide also a reducer wich doesn't interfere with the overal working/heating of the bowl.
We are going for a .15-.30 once we have the prototypes we will then do proper testing on the size of the bowl in connection to the heaters power and go from there.
What size bowl would everyone want?
Lets hear some numbers so we can better understand what the community wants.
