VAS therapy (discussion)

My VAS was basically cured by the following:

Home: Sublimator Apollo (been running near 16/7 for handful of years now & still going strong)

Portable: Mighty (also still going strong after years)

Those two vapes satisfied me so much they basically ended my FC participation for the last few years. lol. ;)

I am starting to worry about the day the Sub goes belly up, and seeing that they're not available, have been looking at alternatives. I think I'll probably pick up a Flowerpot VROD soon.

Absolutely worship the Sub, however... just a workhorse beast of a vape.

Subliminator looks like a beast. Im glad the mighty is holding you over. Seems to be a bit outdated with all the new toys out now. Careful in here. Wouldn't want a VAS flair up! Hahahaha

@arb loved my ws and UD logs .. might need a enano to scout out the difference

Best Vas therapy for me is DIYing..Making my own toys has totally replaced the need of buying new ones.. I find it really satisfying when you manage to rig up a device that delivers big clean tasty hits on par with the best vapes you've tried ! Maybe it is just a period and this will fuse with the Classic VAS .someday if i get better financially ,lol.... Which my other big VAS killer, probably greater than DIYing.. Not having extra money to spend on vapes is the Greatest VAS killer of them all ... We people in the 3rd World countries know that very good :lmao:.

I tended to think of the Mighty as an old/outdated device too, and all of the plastic in it has kept me from buying one so far, but a lot of people with a lot of vaporizers still consider it one of the top portables despite its age and materials.

I hope they update it soon, but even if they don’t I’ll probably end up trying one at some point.

I don't understand the hype. But I guess your have to at least pick one up to know if it's for you or not. All part of the vas:brow:

There is always something shiny that I don't currently have.

I enjoy cycling, and there is a common equation that is used by many in that crowd to help people get a handle on how many different bikes one would need to cover their needs without going overboard.
The equation is n + 1 = x, where n is the number of bikes that you currently own. And x, of course, is the number of bikes you should need to cover your unique profile of needs.

I think that this equation is equally efficacious for vaporizer enthusiasts who want to let their VAS get the satisfaction that it deserves, without ending up with too many vapes.
I think that n + 1 = x could be one of the most useful tools that a vapor enthusiast can use to find the proper collection of vaporizers for each and every one of our very specific individual needs.

If God is the answer, then the question is wrong
I think VAS is a so strong disease also because of stellar CS most of manufacturers or retailers are using towards us, this makes us feel extra good while spending money.
I buy a lot on line, nowhere else I am treated so kindly as when buying a new vape (maybe bcause of the profit they make? Or simply because they are - most of them- very kind persons?)

Not all manufacturers nor retailers use the same kindness though (and they are often kicked in a corner by their own attitude, lowering VAS pressure

For example, if George @VapCap would have adopted the attitude “the customer is not always right” or “this is the end of customers terrorism!” another manufacturer was pride to share out loud while being way less than stellar in his CS (the name will remain unspoken) i believe there would be thousands of vapcap unsold and thousands of vapers would have few less VAS related scares

So if you want to heal VAS, support a dick

Yeah....I don't have an LSV either, but it does look like a good wand to suck on. :spliff:

I don't like having a lot of vape gear. I only get VAS now if it's something that can replace multiple things I already own. Less is more :sherlock:

I like having a collection. Each has a history, and they're pretty to look at.
If I lived in a civilized state, I'd keep them clean and shiny in glass display cabinets.

Being able to choose your vape for the evening from a collection is always a good feeling

My collection is not very big yet. But one day!

As a cautious minimalist myself, this rings true, Having vaped full time only since 2015, now Vaping with all its quirks is a full time passion, I've owned a few choice Vapes among them favoring the VC's of which so many I bought in a short time then subsequently gifted them out to encourage family and friends to join in on the FC train. VAS is a legit concern not dissimilar to hoarding. Planned/Perceived obsolescence marketers and some Vape manufacturers understand this psychological tactic well, so I try and take every new iteration or refresh of last years models with a grain of salt, weather its a new grinder, torch, IH, whatever. Shit I still use my old TopBond Odin from 2 years ago even though its a bit dated it still vapes and gets me where I need to be.
