Not to be debatable or anything like that but just so my newbie brain has an idea what makes you think the junior is more polished? I've heard that before also but without any explanation I know Troy at 420 loves the brick and talked real highly about it in a comparison before I think he said it's the most consistent easily hitting

So I don't put much stock in T's opinion, but I actually beta tested the junior for Kenny (SBL founder former member here who took up the mantle producing this style of vape after Triihouse shut down) and then bought the finalized version later on. I was super impressed with it, I also have the runt now, and the hydro brick, along with Daisy and Lily, plus Piro and Dreamwood DLX, among a few others using direct torch convection... So yeah I think the junior is the overall best most versatile, and compared to the Nova, I just think it is a bit more polished in the features and the honing in of the design, like the flared bent flame intake (although I would love to get the colored spiky stem that the Nova has along with his beautiful exotic wood) the carb hole and other slight things, subtle things I'm guessing, for what it's worth I have Doug's roadie stash cases, a large one and a small one, one ambrosia maple and one goncalo alves, they're truly gorgeous work very well made, so I'm sure the Nova is very nice! I just think the Brick is the gold standard original now, you know?

The two things that turn me on about the Nova were obviously the price and how you could pivot the bottom chamber why worry would be if you have it in your pocket the bottom of the junior can't come untouched cuz I imagine it's only held together with magnets? That's one thing I'm trying to figure out I would hate to have it open and lose all my flower.

Carb hole is something that many plug up but especially as you are learning, letting off the hole is a good way to get some cool air in there if approaching combustion too quick.

But I will say that between Anvil and SBL, I find the Anvil learning curve much easier. SBL you really need to get your technique back.

Yeah I rely on the carb hole, it helps me create turbulence, and avoid scorching, along with the flame, there are a lot of variables to play with, so it could be simple to not have it I suppose if you were starting without it, but I learned with it and I rely on it from the Daisy and Lily... I'm not sure about the pivot thing, I thought the junior could do that as well? Cannot recall (not with mine at the moment otherwise I might check lol)

You know you guys have a good point I think that's why I like the dynavap so much is because you have a carb basically and it gets you more in tuned and you could change different hits and hotness with the carb.

You guys talk me into it I'm going to do it! I might just pick up an induction heater with a sticky brick And the only gamble is if the brick replaces the DynaVap. I have honestly grown to love the butane vapes because you control your own destiny and your ABV extraction color you just can't achieve that fine line with too many others styles of vapes

Just thought I would pop back in here to say that the Nova does have a carb hole, although it uses a screw instead of cork to block it for those that don't use it.

(OWW micro does not have a carb.)
