Vaporizing help

Hello all, last week I went out and bought my first vape. I wanted a DBV, but they didnt have any :/ so i settled with the MFLB after reading some nice things about it. well i've finally gotten the hang of it to produce about 15 nice vapor hits per trench. But my highs dont seem to be a 'high'. only 2 effects are, my eyes just get pretty sensitive, and my eyelids get kinda heavy. other than that, i feel sober.

So main question being, will the MFLB get you as high as a DBV? I'm assuming since im getting decent vapor hits out of the MFLB, that this is gonna be the high no matter what i use...

random info that might be a problem,
smoke bongs 3-5 times a day, so probably too high of a tolerance?
i only smoke decent mids, maybe not enough THC to vape?

any help is greatly appreciated.

All I can say is that I think is not a problem of bong tolerance...I too used to smoke 3-4 bongs a day and vaping gets me really high! In a slightly different way. i use the herborizer though...but I read that many people here enjoy the mflb, so since your unit does vaporize, there must be something in the weed. Not sure though. You should try a different strain.

Watch some videos. Check the MFLB thread for tips too... see how all the MFLB fans hit their boxes. Watch some of JDSupreme's YouTube vides on the MFLB. Try the styles you see. You will get high, once you get the method down that works best.
A vapor high is not the same as a smoke high. It is lighter and clearer. For this reason many vaporists save the vaped weed (ABV) and use it in edibles.. to supplement the heavier cannabinoid high from those that dont get vaporized. (different cannabinoids vaporize at different temperatures.. the body high ones being at the hottest temps)

dude, you are smoking way too much, your tolerance is sky high! I remember the days when I was hitting the bong all day fuckin everyday, it took a toll on my wallet rather quickly but took longer to realize its effects on my body. smoke is not good for anyone. Next time be careful and dont be suckered into buying something you werent looking for and veering off path. Dont get me wrong, I have a MFLB and love it, Im even using it right now and since I have a fairly low tolerance I get about just as high as I do with my other vapes.


enjoy your Box, and look up technique tips like Vitolo suggested on YouTube.

you should cut back if not take a t break, you need it! not trying to critizize you or anything, cause Im not doing that, but you will have a much better time with a lowered tolerance and maybe evena heavy hitter vape, more like the BIG bong hits you take all the time. the MFLB is not meant to be a heavy hitter like a DBV, SSV, EQ, etc so it wont do that, but it IS a fantastic portable/stealth/lower priced option!! which is why you should do your research and stick with it! but the MFLB is still regarded very highly around these parts.

the effects of vaporizing are slightly different than a smoke high, try only vaporizing for awhile and you should start noticing the effects much more easily. the one time i vaporized mids it was not as effective for me, but im not used to smoking/vaping mids so that might be the reason.

Right now Im loving my PD and my LB, mostly my box lately though actually, I used the warranty on it an have a new one and I have been really enjoying for the past week or two! and Im not even using it on the go! haha I have my PD here but havent picked it up for a while since I have been busy with my box.

I recently bought a LB from Blissville; haven't had a chance to experiment with it yet but it should be a fun time. OTOH this isn't buyer's remorse but I'm not sure I feel comfortable using it outside in the city - there are monitoring cameras everywhere although you're not aware of it which is the idea. Probably not to this degree in the outer boroughs, I would think. Dirty paraphernalia is a more serious offense than the material itself, which is weird, but I guess it implies "intent." Still ass backwards logic. It's a shame because it would be amazing to vape outside especially now. You can say "fuck combustion" but a half smoked joint is easier to swallow than even the most portable of vapes or so I've heard.

yea I would not feel very comfortable vaping in public, I have used the LB during a movie though, no problem there.

Things have changed dramatically. In 1972 I saw Zappa at the Felt Forum with some friends; each one of us were smoking our own personal joints, plus we were tripping on LSD.
The usher came over to verify my ticket stub. I remember expressing annoyance while smoking a joint, begrudgingly I dug the stub out of my pocket to show him, the suited dude with the flashlight said "thank you" and walked away. My only concern was that he was interrupting my listening to Tim Buckley, the opening act. One of the best concerts I've ever seen through and through.

There was a movie theater in Uniondale called the "mini cinema" - they used to play unusual and cool movies, not the mainstream stuff. For example, "Pink Flamingos."
You were allowed to smoke weed in the theater, in fact it was almost encouraged. I remember once the manager, before the midnight movie started, stood up on the stage with a newspaper delivery canvas bag filled with ice cream dixie cups and threw them out randomly, and there was always free coffee in the lobby.

Nowadays I stay home mostly to imbibe. Your mention of the movies made me think about the mini cinema and how much I loved it.
