- SSV can vape over a larger temperature range and can vaporize hash incredibly well. I would argue the SSV is more versatile. As far as I'm concerned, the whip is the best mode of intake, so the others don't matter as much. Other people may not agree and that's fine.
- I think the SSV is more efficient and versatile in that loading small bowls works better in it relative to the HA.
- The "precision temperature" doesn't really matter much. Nobody who owns an SSV has a problem with it.
- The SSV can withstand a hit with a hammer \m/
- I prefer grinding and besides, sometimes you only have shake.
- Customer service I havn't dealt with, when I dealt with HA they seemed good. Their accessories are far too overpriced though.
- The SSV can be controlled well enough by the user to be efficient or massively wasteful (but fun).
- I get impatient with the long bag wait. I'd rather not have to wait that long if I don't have to. The accessories aren't too poorly priced and are custom glass pieces. I love glass. Teflon is not that good.
- I loved the HA when I had it. It was great. But the SSV had more diversity in hit range I felt. I also felt that the taste was more pure.
It of course depends on what you're looking for. If you truly love bags, then the SSV isn't the best choice for you. I thought I loved bags (and I do), but the whip on the SSV is far more preferential to me. I also like how the SSV can actually look good. You can put it on display and it's great. I like the lab-gear charm of the HA, but the SSV for me is in another league.
It is apples and oranges, but I prefer to eat apples.
