Vaporizer longevity vs. traditional smoking methods

If you think about this for a bit, you start to realize that vaporizers, have a great chance to stand the test of time just like the joint, bong, pipe, etc? I believe they will. The efficiency, ease of use, discreetness, and marketing make it a vast growing industry that will be around for a long time.

My question to you guys is that: Do you think it will stand the test of time? Is it one of those things that may fade in time? (But hopefully NEVER! BECAUSE VAPING KICKS ASS!!!)

To me, that's like asking if the medical profession would ditch MRI's and CAT scans, and go back to only using x-rays. Vaporizing is healthier than smoking. It's progress, not just a fad.

I love the amount of devices that are out, with new ones coming out all the time. Natural progression of things week see a few of the ones that are or there now be replaced by new, nifty things. But some of the things from this era will help define what the successful ones look like.

Med devices are a great analogy. In the 80s Nuc Med devices relief on a crystal inside to read images, and a jostle many the machine needed to be recalibrated. More it's simply push a button and everything takes right off. And we take that for granted. They both work, but the new one is better and faster.

Everything improves, and old things are fun to play with

Exactly, that's what I was thinking.

I just wanted to inquire your guys's opinions on this. Some people I know personally love vaping, while others are skeptical of it. Its expected in a growing industry.

Like i said i love it, I believe it will stand the test of time. Especially when there is tons of vaporizer enthusiasts.

Just wondering if you guys feel the same way about it

Well if these "others" don't use mj at all, then they're speaking from total ignorance. If they're smokers, well, some people are perfectly fine with smoking, but those who quit smoke and take up vapor instead rarely go back to smoking. I'm talking about committing to vapor too, not just giving it a try in between joints. I don't recall hearing anyone say 'well I've been vaping full time for 6 months now, but I just don't enjoy it as much as that tasty smoke, so I'm selling my vape and buying a case of rolling papers'. Personally, I got to the point where even a few pipe hits at night were bothering my lungs, and was seriously thinking about giving up weed altogether. Then I discovered vapor and my lungs have been happy for about 10 years now. I've also seen the vape market explode in the past decade. It's only going to get bigger and better.

Ahh, I was looking at vaporizer longevity, not vaping as a fad. I'm fully onboard with vaping. I smoked (cigs) for a bunch of years, but stopped 20ish years ago. I still have the occasional one (2 or 3 pet year), but that's a moment of insanity, with a friend that still smokes.

I have a few vapes now. Including a Vapman (which has to be as close to smoking as one can get) and don't miss smoking in any way. My emergency kit has a small water pipe, a pack of papers, and a lighter. I'm not stuck if we lose power, but I also have a couple of portable power packs, too, so I can stay charged up for a few days if things fall apart.

Happy 420. Now go vape, and think about what a great time it is to be alive
