Vaporizer for soft/tasty experience ?

Hello, this my first message here

I've been gathering informations about vaporizers for the past 2 days and though I'm still a bit confused about my search, this forum has helped me a lot figuring out the various options, so thanks everyone

I'm a rather heavy smoker, this year I successfully managed taming my nicotine addiction with e-cigs, but any casual access to weed makes me fall back into combusted tobacco for several weeks :/

A relative of mine recently got the pinnacle pro, my experience with it was very short since he had just received the thing and its battery was exhausted, but I really enjoyed those few draws, it was everything I ever wanted my e-cig to be without the somehow dubious, greasy and chemical aftertaste…

I'm definitely looking for a no fuss, transportable and clean vaporizer that's both affordable and not hazardous.

The most important requirement is that it should allow for low temperatures : my main material would be legal, organic herbs and I'm not looking for big clouds and devastating hits but rather long, relaxed, repeated and tasty draws

I wouldn't mind an all analog device as I'm truly tired of batteries' constraints and degradation.

Somehow the Triihouse's daisy seems like it could fit the bill with a bit of practice, but I may be wrong, could any lighter based setup be a reliable candidate for that even with user experience ?

I honestly recommend looking into the Hammer as you will have more control of the temp you are playing with and keeping it consistent.

Its also more convenient for using different herbs as you can just swap and clean stems in less than a minute.

I don't think the hammer is for me, I live in France, having to deal with overseas customer service for a sensible piece like a piezo when I can easily find a good lighter in town doesn't seem wise :/
As for the daisy, do you think its heating system is sufficiently flexible, forgiving and repeatable in order to get temperatures in the 100/150° range without too much hassle, or is it more likely to be a constant hit or miss ?
The vapolution would be perfect for my home use, I like the idea of having an all glass air path and it's not overpriced, but I couldn't find an european distributor

usw, I don't have the daisy, though have tried flame-powered vapes. Your question though is a good one and has recently been asked and has elicited some good discussion here.

What is the consensus on how temperature effects work with the manually powered vapes like MFLB, Lotus, Vapman. Wouldn't you be taking hits at a variety of temperatures, unlike taking hits from a consistent heat source? Say you only take a few hits and the herb is still green, how do you know what temperature effects you are about to get? How can you determine the temperature your vapeing at with manuals besides harshness? With manuals is it even possible to isolate the lower temperatures vs the higher temperatures or are they inevitably mixed together at a medium temp?

p.s. The 100/150° doesn't sound right 157°C is the bottom of the THC boiling point (as well as some terpenoids), but CBD, CBN, CBC, THCV, etc are all higher. I'd think 150°C to be the bottom of the vape range, 185-190 medium, 200 and beyond the top end...

But indeed JimmyCricket has a point obviously, I was hoping that since people manage avoiding combustion with their "analog" vaporizers, I could do the same at lower temps…
Still, I don't want another battery powered device !
Plug-in would be fine, but I'd still need something for nomad use or when visiting friends and I'm currently broke.
A shop in my hometown sells vaponics, I'll see what to expect with this one, it should represent the worst case scenario for my needs and I'll then take my decision accordingly (or not ).

By legal, organic herbs I thought you meant legal, (as in Colorado) organic herbs.

EDIT. @JimmyCricket has more of a question than a point actually, and this question and the discussion that follows are about dialling in a temperature using "analog" vapes - not about avoiding combustion. Certainly seems relevant ... perhaps give it a read.

Check out Vapman, a Swiss-made vaporizer where you preheat it with a butane torch for a few seconds at a time before drawing. It's very easy and a joy to use.

I've had mine for two months, and it's probably become my all-around favorite vaporizer. I still mostly use the E-Nano at home, but otherwise Vapman has taken over; I rarely/never use my MFLB, ESV or Haze anymore. And now the Vapman heating station is about to be released, turning it into a hybrid portable/plug-in vape! I can even imagine it taking over for my Nano...

Vapman can satisfy in one or two quick, hard hits, or you can go easier with the flame and draw things out. No stirring is necessary, and very little cleaning is required. The big downside is that the torch is really not stealthy at all, but if you can get a little privacy, you're all set. I have no problem using it in my car during my lunch break, for example.

This is the one I finally ordered, a basic walnut, after much, much pondering...its usage and maintenance seem simple, it's not overly fragile nor pricey, I'll be able to take it with me everywhere and I love wooden objects with spiritual twists
It should be here on monday, may be tomorrow if I'm lucky ! I just hope I'll enjoy vaping herbs in it as much as its design.
