Vaporesso Nexus

I just bought a Vaporesso Nexus. It seems like a good quality device and I bought it because I have been using Ccell carts with good luck. Never had one of these AIO thingys but like the whole concept. I have looked around trying to get info on how I should make my liquid for it and hoped all y'all would have some good advice. People online have said they are prone to flooding. These are ecig people so a little different I think. But they say use a 70VG liquid?
I'm using a really good wax that's pretty hard and crystal clear. I use Majic Synergic, usually at .4 milliliters per gram in my regular Ccells. This is pretty thick and I wonder if it's too thick for the Nexus? Don't want stuff to get stuck in the built in tank.
My question is what should my mix be done at to work good in this thing. Hope some of y'all have used one and can give me some advice. I looked around and didn't find much. New to your group but not a newb to making and vapeing.

Thanks in advance!

Dang! Nobody?
Someone with experience with other AIO like aspire? Guess if I don't hear back gonna give her a run and post the results.

cui bono?
I only have experience using distillate and co2 oil in these things, not liquidized wax...

I recommend trying the Vaporesso Drizzle on a TC Box Mod. It uses a ceramic coil and can handle really thick liquids. I do not recommend using the included battery - it runs way too hot.

I did buy a Nexus but I was sort of turned off by the huge tank and never tried it. If you have really hard crystal-clear shatter - why don't you just use a Sai? Sorry - maybe a dumb question?

I have a nexus and had a lot of flooding and issues with the coils maintaining a good connection on some 85% distillate

Have you tried liquified wax? I think distillates are way way way overrated. Probably a sub that has been gone over somewhere else on here. But I see it like this, distillate is like a CrapDonalds cheezeburger and the stuff I make is like a Kobe beef burger on a fresh baked roll with all the best fixins. Way better flavor and way more satisfaction! If you haven't tried it you should. Co2 is way better but I still cut it down a scrunch to work better in my tanks.

I already have a bunch of vape stuff, mods tanks whatever. Already figured out good setups in that dept but want a small AIO for out and about. Something more portable and pocket friendly is where im trying to go. The oil carts lick balls for good hits and really only good for the easiness. But I like a big strong hit and they don't have enough airflow for me.

I have a Sai. Great piece. But straight dabs really f my lungs up when I do to much. A night of concentrates straight up leaves me feeling like I smoked a dozen blunts.

Thanks for hittin me back. No dumb questions don't worry. But notice I didn't use the word liquidized in my reply. I always picture some dumb meth mouthed hillbilly when I see it. Im no king of proper English but that word just rubs me wrong lol

I been trying to get the mix right since my op. Think I have got it in the money zone now. Needs to be thick but not so thick. Something like a distillate is way to thick. Think the reason they work in oil carts like the ccell is that it gets real hot and makes the goo flow. But the tank on the Nexus is odd shaped and was worried about it not working that way. Can tell you if your stuff is to thick its a total bitch to get it all out.

So in an oil cart I use .4ml Synergic per gram. In my big vapes I like more of a 1 to 1. Works better and more like a reg vape juice. For the Nexus I bumper it by .1 each try until it worked good. Knew .4 would be too stiff so started at .5 ( that what I had to pull out ugh) and ended up at .7 which seems to be pretty good so far. Have had a few gurgles but thats kind of expected with top airflow types ive found. But to get rid of that I have just used a syringe and fill needle a couple times to suck out the little in the bottom. Both times it wasn't even enough to get liquid in the syringe, just the needle so its a pretty small amount. So its been working out pretty good.

I will keep experiments going until I nail it but think its close. I really do like the AIO concept. And if any of yall are wondering why I went with the Nexus its because it has a glass tank not plastic like others.

Hey NYChuck,

Nice thread, I'm in the process of making my own oil and have been looking for a stealthy device made of inert materials. The nexus sure seems nice but this review has got me wondering whether vaporesso is lying.

The tank windows are pretty small, can you tell with certainty that the tank is made of glass? it is possible this reviewer was sent a pre-production unit with a plastic tank.

Anyway, I'm curious to see if you can avoid clogging issues by playing with your oil's viscosity. It kind of kills the fun for me if I have to pay attention to the way I hit it.

Well shit. You and the review are right. ITS PLASTIC! It looks like glass but just put a mark in it with something sharp. Their product info says glass tank. WTF!

Very sad now. I have several Vaporesso things and really like them. I bought the Nexus for the simple fact that they said it was glass. What a scam. Thanks for letting me know. Probably going to run with it a while and see if the plastic breaks down. I know some are resistant to terps and other harsh chemicals but never really felt good about putting my shit in plastic. This device is probably better for the more ejuice types of products. I have some so will mix with that next time and try it.

Can we change this to a thread on how you cant trust many of these Chinese vape companys? Even the big ones. Its amazing how much shit product they dump in the US because we just eat that shit up and smile like some chumps. So sad. Glad it was only $25 bucks.

Really sums up why I stay loyal to the co.'s that take good care of us and put out good stuff.

Damn, I was hoping to be wrong. this is so shady! :cuss:

I've looked at a bunch of options and they all suck.

The ald vfire's pods are made of cheap plastic and the mouthpiece is glued in!! at least that's the case for the refillable pods, I don't know about the disposable ones, but at this point I don't trust them.

Vaporesso zero pods are made of pctg which seems okay-ish, but there are big silicone seals inside the pods.

ccell's dart pods are made of cheap plastic and most likely silicone.

trinity does not work and is not stealthy anyway. I feel w9tech has missed a massive opportunity in this space. If only they had been willing to put a bit of coton in their coils, we would have a healthier alternative without silicone/plastic. The number of cart systems and coils they have released blows my mind, I don't understand who needs 5 different kinds of coils (ie. their new triton).

I've got a drizzle for now but those 4 silicone seals make me uncomfortable, I'm not sure it's safe to put some super terpy oil in it.
If you guys know about something better, I'd like to hear about it.

Been using the nexus for a bit now and figure I should update. Pulled this sucker apart over the weekend to give it a deep clean and check for damage from the terps. What I saw was kinda good. Had to carry my ass to Home Depot to buy a special screwdriver bcuz it has a tiny ass screw with a star not a plus. But was able to pick one up for under 10.

To take it apart you take out all the screws. They are 2 on top 2 on bottom. Once they are out you have to pull the top up slowly then flip it sideways so you can pull it through and out the bottom. Careful bcuz there is a tiny wire connected to the top that looks real fragile. But once its out you can see exactly what you r workin with.

I cleaned it all out with some iso and qtips. Was able to get to everything and clean it up real nice. It had a lot of oil around the tank so with that I say when you make it thick enough to work good you are going to have a lot of oil left behind that doesn't get to the coils. Maybe if you are using one you can heat it up somehow and set it on its side so all the oil on the walls flow to the coil and you can vape it. I will try that next time and report.

After it was all clean I gave it a good inspection. The tank itself was plastic not glass but didn't look like it had any damage from the oil. Held it up to the sun and it was still clear and I poked at the sides inside and it wasn't any softer than the outside. So while Im not lovin the fact that they lied and said it was glass the plastic seems to be doing OK. Theres a seal on the top cap that closes off the tank and is probably silicone but didn't look damaged or anything. Ive seen silicone get soft and swell up with terps but not here. Im know there is gonna be a seal where the metal contacts mount in the tank but didn't try taking that apart for a peep. No leakage below so must be holding up OK? So I put it all back together and went on my way.

The only place I could see some damage was on the top cap you put your mouth on. Hadnt pulled it off in weeks but when I did looked like a little bit of the plastic was stuck to the tube that screws ontop of the coil. Like a little black ring not a lot. Cleaned off easy with my fingernail and everything still seals up. The rest of the cap was good even where the oil had built up in the hole so maybe it was the heat that did it or heat terps combo. Not real sure.

I feel better but still not happy bout the bait n switch on the tank. Thing does work good when you get the right thickness worked out. Probably keep using it for a bit just for going places since its small and thats nice. Don't like using oil carts in public. Everybody knows what those are now days. Especially 5 O.

Did email Majic Solutions for their opinion. Their response was that they don't suggest using oils in plastic but if you did the naked Synergic would be the least likely to cause damage. They said a lot of people use it in the Juul without problem but they never recommend it. Guess I wont try any of the really terpy stuff in it. Or maybe I will just to see if it dissolves the tank or some shit.

Thats where Im at and wanted to share. Boss keeps givin me the death stare so gotta get back to the bs.

Thanks for the report. I have shelved my nexus and moved to the nrg.
