I guess one could draw similarities from both. I wouldn't consider it a vaporizer when the guy shooting the video review/show calls it a mobile pipe. Sure, vaporizers CAN combust, but they don't do that under normal use, and you don't see any of the reviewers calling them electronic pipes...

I bought this piece of shit as my first oil pen because of all the hype from those vapelife will videos. I tried to load a dab and it didn't want to heat up, I think i probably screwed up the cart or something because my errl is stickey.
Has a 510 thread from what I know, but haven't used it because the cart doesn't work. What's a better cart that can get HUGE hits? I was thinking of buying the omicron carts or putting the 710M cart on it, but I feel they are all junk.

To be perfectly honest, Vapelife Will doesn't really seem to have a firm grasp on actual vaporizers. Almost everything he recommends is a rebranded ecig and he seems to be more of a character than a credible authority on vaporizers. Can't stand that guy's vids or his shtick.

Yeah, I didn't really know much about vaporizers and didnt know much to go by, and the vape pen reviews always seemed a little dodgy. Some people loved them, some liked them while they lasted, and some say they sucked. I was confused on which one was gonna be the best value. I hate his videos also, but its nice that he compares carts and you can know what will fit on your pen.
Anyways, I ended up buying a "DabStix" glass globe and the e-nail carts attachment on eBay for real cheap. It works great now with the VaporCone Elite Battery, but it sucks that I can't charge and smoke at the same time (the battery isn't that great compared to other oil vape pens like the G Pen micro I have). I'm now considering getting a dabbler battery or the whole set to get the stealth skillet attachment, or the DabStix brand carries a variable voltage and battery level indicator which seems pretty nice.

These guys sent me samples out of the blue, they're your typical cheap Chinese made e-cigs. Not suitable for herb or oil, only e-cig juice...
