Okay, so heres what I got so far. Vapor Cannon (vapor wares) went out of business. They produced their last unit which is 4G. I just purchased from Wapor Store who is in place of the warrantys of vapor cannon and such. I also am told vapor cannon is not making any more units. My real question is what the hell is the difference. I just paid $140 for a Vapor BOX (Hoping to get the CANNON)!!!! It looks kinda different. My friend had a cannon 3g and it ripped a ton, I hope this one is going to work just as good. SHould I return it and get a cannon or is this vapor box the same thing or better?

So yes , your unit is fine.

They probably have a very similar heating element if not the same but you might be better with the box because of the 2 piece wand. Most of those box style vaporizers are almost identical apart from the Vapor Brothers which has a honeycomb style heating element.

VaporStore merged with VaporWarez to ensure the highest quality and support for two of the most sought-after products on the market. You can read the full details of the merger that took place in the summer of 2009 by viewing the article here (http://www.vapormovement.com/?p=428).

At this time, the 4G VaporCannon is still available, and we will continue to provide full warranty/repair support even if production is halted in the future.

The differences between the VaporCannon and the VaporBox are slight, but could be significant in the decision of which one to buy. They differences are 1) the warranty, 2) the handkit and 3) the production. They both come with highly reliable 100% ceramic heaters, sturdy construction, and serve as two of the most efficient and economical direct-vape style vaporizers on the market.

1) The VaporBox comes with a lifetime warranty on the heating element, as opposed to a 5-year warranty with the VaporCannon. Both are built to last a long time and both warranties are serviced by VaporStore's quick and thorough service/repair department.

2) The deluxe handkit that comes with the VaporBox is an exclusive VaporStore product! Designed to screw open, the deluxe handkit gives you easy access to the screen area so that you can replace or clean them quickly saving yourself the hassle of positioning a new screen. You can order the 4G VaporCannon and upgrade your handkit to either the Deluxe Hands Free or the dual-screen VaporTower Deluxe handkit, which is compatible with the Hands Free VaporBox as well.

3) The VaporBox and VaporTower are both handcrafted in the U.S. Any repairs, warranty claims or otherwise for the VaporBox/VaporTower and VaporCannon are usually performed and sent back out the same day they are delivered.

The VaporCannon, VaporBox, and VaporTower are all designed to be gentle on the airways allowing you to extract active ingredients in a much safer and healthier fashion than smoking. We hope this clears up any confusion about the differences between these great vaporizers. For those that may have additional questions, please feel free to ask and we'd be happy to provide any information we can.

The air used for vaporization with the VaporBox is pulled in from the base of the unit up through the center of the 100% ceramic heater on its way to the the herbs. Once passing through the herbs and glass portions of the handkit, it's up the tubing and finally inhaled through the mouthpiece. If you look on the bottom of your unit, you will see holes from where the air is drawn in from. Looking closely at the heater you can also see a hole in the center from which it passes through. The slower you breathe in, the longer the air is near the heater, thus the hotter and more evenly your herbs will vaporize.

The minimum temperature for the VaporBox is approximately 275 degrees Fahrenheit at the 9 o' clock position on the dial. The maximum temperature is up to 475 degrees Fahrenheit at the 3' o clock position on the dial. Most people find the 11-12 o'clock position (350-375 degrees) is the optimal place to vaporize most herbal blends. The hotter the temperature, the faster the herbs will vaporize. We do not recommend you use heat past 400 degrees (1 o'clock position) as this will likely cause combustion and create smoke which is very harsh and unpleasant tasting compared to vapor.

Vaporstore, I just acquired a used VB through this forum sans tubing. It looks great and I'm looking forward to testing it out.
What are the dimensions of silicone tubing that you recommend? - I believe it requires a slightly wider circumference than many box vapes.
thanks..

I use standard 3/8" tubing on mine w/o any issues
3/8" ID isn't really standard. It's the size used by 7th Floor for the SSV/DBV. Most whip units use 1/4" ID, 3/8" OD. The larger diameter will probably work OK on most male connector wands, but a lot of mouthpieces are too small for 3/8" ID.

I believe it requires a slightly wider circumference than many box vapes.
If that's the case, 3/8" ID would probably be a good size.

Our silicone tubing has a 5/16" (.313) inner diameter and a 7/16" (.438) outer diameter. It is very malleable and adheres well to glass, so it can be used with a variety of handkits and whips effectively. We offer 2.5 ft. and 5 ft. lengths. You may also contact us for special pricing on bulk sized orders.

If anyone is interested in learning about our silicone tubing and the importance of using high-grade tubing you can check out our article posted on VaporMovement. LINK >> http://www.vapormovement.com/?p=502
