Hey Spiral - I just "won" a VW 3G on Ebay for $49, free shipping, used for one year according to the ad - seller has 100 percent positive feedback.SpiralArchitect said:I've tried a few other vapes, namely a Volcano my friend owns and a Vapir Air Digital Air (which, IMO sucks). I decided to get the Vapor Warez over the SSV because of the warranty and aesthetics.
The wood grain matches my desk perfectly. And in the winter time, when I come inside and my hands are cold it's great to rest them on top of it.
I guess they recently came out with their 4th Generation model. As far as I remember the only new additions are a new and improved heating element and a shock resistant heating element mount.
If your on a budget, or just savy about woodgrain aesthetics (one reason the Purple Days appeals to me so much) the Vapor Warez is the way to go. I mean you can buy a 2nd or 3rd generation for 100/120, respectively. That's one helluva bargain.
You can't take that typical '12 o'clock high' setting to the bank. Every unit can be different due to various factors including how the temp knob was placed on the control shaft. Drawing too hard would lower your temp, not burn it. A hard fast draw pulls in a lot of cold air and definitely affects the temp. You can't hit a vape really hard like a bong, but if you're comfortable with your draw speed, try dropping the temp a little. Finding the right zone on a particular whip unit is a balance between knob setting and draw speed.VapMonkey said:I keep burning my herb a little bit, even though I have the heat set to 12 o'clock. I think I'm probably just drawing too hard

Another VaporCannon? Better hurry. They don't make 'em anymore. They closed up shop. When I head off to college, I'll likely get another....
The understanding, to me at least, is that the Vaporstore.com will be some how be involved in current and future production and fulfillment of warranty obligations of the Cannon and other VW merchandise..The VaporWarez VaporCannon is now under the manufacturing care of VaporStore.
The Vaporwarez guy called it quits due to family issues, I'm told.purplechango said:The following is a quote from Vaporstor.com:

I sent you an email on the mouthpiece deal jeff. Let me know if for some reason you don't get it.jeffp said:I need to get a glass mouthpiece for the whip
I tilt mine on its side; I happen to like my VW 3G alot. Can you explain what you mean by ergonomic in this sense?SpiralArchitect said:At first the downward angle kind of confused me to be honest. Then I figured out how easy it is to really use, and how ergonomic it actually is.
Not to mention, as specified by the company themselves, you can, if you please, put something underneath the back of the unit to make the heating element parallel to the ground/horizontal. I know some people prefer it this way. IT doesnt affect the quality of the hit or performance at all.
And VaporBrothers, from what I hear, are just about similiar in terms of quality. I don't own one though, but I know 2 people who own both VB and the VW and they both prefer different ones. The price is the same, but their is no 'on/off' switch, so you have to find the 'sweet spot' each time. One thing I do like is the blue light on the heating element though. I wonder if I could mod my VW without ruining the warranty to accomplish something like that?
